"DID VAUGHN already leave?"
"Yes, yeobo," Zoe said to Isaak who sat beside her on the sofa. "He needed to leave, so I let him."
"Aww, it's a shame," Yosef Geronimo, who arrived with her husband in the tearoom, then he sat on the chair across from the sofa. "You know, Vaughn Wilson is actually a decent person."
"And you dragged that kind of person here?" she complained at the priest lightly. "You know that Isaak's people are wary of him, Your Eminence. He must have been uncomfortable while he was here."
"He didn't leave the guest room, but I played with him so he wouldn't get bored," the priest said defensively. "I also fed him well."
Isaak scoffed. "Is he your pet or something?"
"He's a friend, okay?" Yosef said, then he picked up a cookie and munched on it before he turned to her. "Why did Vaughn leave in a hurry?"
