"We're off to go." Mom announced. They're on my room, showing themselves with their summer outfits.

"Stay safe here." Dad kissed my forehead. Daddy looks so good on his hawaiian polo and khaki shorts. He's even holding his camera.

I pouted.

"We'll be back tomorrow or the other day." Mommy said and placed a kiss on my cheeks.

They left a lot of words and I couldn't do anything rather than nodding and giving them a thumbs up.

My eyebrows furrowed when I saw my brother's boasting face. He even flexed his summer clothes and do a posture like how models do in a calvin klein underwear, ut doesn't suite him, he looks like a gorilla.

"Be good, Constancia." They said including my brother but I just rolled my eyes on him in a simple way Mom and Dad didn't see.

I wave them a goodbye.

When the door closed, my eye pooled tears but then it disappeared when the door opened again.

I saw my brother.

He threw a bag at me and waved his hand while sticking his tongue out.

I hissed when I was hit on my forehead.

I opened the bag and saw a chocolate. For the first time, he made me smile. I grab the note inside and read it.

'I got this chocolate for you since your Nurse Mia told me that it's your favorite.'

He made me smile but doesn't me I'm not annoyed. I'm still annoyed at him! He's a total pain in the ass.

I bring the bag with me and head on his room. I guess he's done from eating his breakfast since his room is clean. He's leaning on the headboard while playing with a squeaky ball.

"Hey..."

He looked at my direction after hearing my voice.

"I thought you're going to have your breakfast with me." He said. I went to where he was and climb on his bed.

I scratched my head. "I'm with my family."

He nodded.

"You mad?" I asked him.

He shook his head. "No, I'm not."

I grab one of my chocolate and placed it on his hand. "It's a chocolate. I guess, I can have my dinner with you later since they're not here and my brother is not pestering around."

"There's Lunch," he said. "Let's eat together Lunch and Dinner."

I nod my head. "Yeah, that will do." My smile is too big that almost reach my ear. So this is the progress of gaining my friendship with him huh?

"Or, you can stay here as long as you wanted." He said and yawned.

My heart suddenly flinched as if it was fluttered with the words he said.

"Really?!" I hit his feet under the cover twice.

"Yah! Just don't hit me!"

I giggled.

"Ouch, my back hurts." I hold my back.

I just noticed that I'm sitting for too long without any support from my back...and we're not even talking, we stayed quiet.

"Come here." He tap his side and move a little.

"Huh?"

"Sit beside me. You're going to hurt your back even more."

I crawled to his side. We're sitting together and leaning against the headboard. My dextrose is still with me.

"Do you want me to open your chocolate?" I asked him nicely since he's not acting like a old grumpy dragon today.

He didn't say anything he just give me.

I opened it for him and give it back before I opened mine.

We're quietly eating our chocolates when his door suddenly opened.

Nurse Mia entered, she looks panicky.

"Nana, what happened to you?" I asked her.

"Go back to your room, one of your car parked."

With that, I hurriedly hopped down.

"You can still eat with me right?" He asked all of a sudden.

I look back at him with a smile. "Of course, I promise."

He nodded.

When I lay down on my bed that's the exact time that my door opened.

My eyes darted on my brother who entered with a bag with him.

"What are you doing here huh?" I asked him. He shut the door. "Did Dad kicked you out from your summer getaway cause he realized that you belong to the zoo cause you're a gorilla?"

He hissed and rolled his eyes.

He didn't say anything but walked towards me. Nurse Kim entered too with something on her hand.

My brother and her had an eye contact, Nurse Kim immideatly rolled his eyes on my brother, my brother just smirk at her.

What the hell is wrong with them?

My brother get my IV out of my hand and after that, Nurse Kim leave with a glare on my brother who smirk at her again.

"Why did you removed it?!" I furiously asked him. My face is too angry and I look like one of those angry birds.

"I'm fetching you. You're going with us."

My face stiffen with the same emotions.

"Get your ass up and dress yourself."

I pouted but with eyebrows who almost lined together. I'm about to smile but what if it's not true! What if he's playing with me!

But, how come he went back here just to tell me those! That means he's saying the truth?!

Both of us are staring with each other. A lightning and thunder almost occur.

"I'm saying the truth." he said.

"You're lying."

He hissed violently. "You know what, if you don't like to go out with a permission, just don't go! You're waisting my time."

I pouted even more.

"Fuck it! I'm saying the truth! Do you think I'll go back here and fetch you even though I almost reach La Union?!"

"Then why are you shouting at me?!"

"Cause you're not even believing on me! You want me to repeat my words for a billion times! and I just did yet you're not even believing! I won't repeat it for a zillion!" He affirmed.

"You're shouting at me, stupid brother." My voice even broke.

It's hard for me to believe on his word especially he keeps teasing me and even bullying me yesterday and even today.

I stood up from my bed and grab the bag that he's handing me.

"Fine." He took a deep breath. "I'm sorry for shouting."

"You're the only demon I know who's apologizing."

"Constancia!"

I immideatly run towards the bathroom giggling. He's not just a gorilla, he's a demon who's apologizing too.

When I opened the bag, I almost screamed out of happiness after seeing a lot of summer dress. I even saw bikini's.

I shrugged.

I already showered this morning so I just applied the lotion I found inside.

I wear the bandeau bikini top and just a shorts. I like those designs but the daisy printed dress caught my attention. It's a daisy printed off shoulder bowknot ruffle dress.

"When do you finished?" He knocked.

I smirked. This is the time that I'll have my revenge.

"I..i...i can't b-breath..." I acted out.

"What?!"

I laughed but it's a mute one.

My eyes grew big when I heard a loud bang coming from the door.

Did he bang the door with his body?!

"Reina! Can you open the door?!"

I didn't respond.

The door slammed again. A crack is visible.

I immideatly opened it and saw him holding his phone.

"Yah! I'm just kidding!"

He looked back at me. "Idiot! Stupid!" He flared.

I giggled seeing worries visible on his face but I stopped when he hit me on the back of my head.

"Yah! It hurts!"

"Don't joke around." He glared at me but I just mocked him.

I rolled my eyes and wear my strap back flat sandals. I don't have any things to bring so I grab the bag of chocolates.

"Let's go!"

"You can sleep again, I will not bring you now that you joke around with your illness." He said seriously.

I stomp my feet and looked at him grumpily.

"No, you're going to stay-"

"I'm sorry!" I cut him off. I'm already set and ready to see a beach and even swim! He can't do that to me. Never!

"I'm sorry, okay?" I cling on his arm and pouted. "Can we go now?"

"No."

I'm being impatient but I'm trying to hold it.

"Can we?"

"No, you're staying. Joke about anything but not that thing." He's serious when he said that.

Now It's my fault again! I'm just teasing him! Do he need some humors?

But I guess, I'm really the one who blame in here. I didn't think about it. I never think that he's going to be worry since he's my doctor too.

I let go of him.

I let go of the bag I'm holding.

I hopped back on the bed and cover myself with a blanket.

"Fine," I heard him. "Follow me outside, we're going."

My spirit almost left my body useless. I immideatly uncovered myself and screamed out of happiness when the door shut.

I reached for the bag and hurriedly run to follow my brother.

I saw him walking with hands both on his pocket and wearing a black backpack.

I joined him. He just took a glimpse on me.

He sneered.

I winked at him.

When I reached the ground of the hospital, a lot of nurses and doctors greeted us. I couldn't help it but to show how happy I was.

I keep waving my hand but automatically stopped my brother bring that down and hold it.

My brother covered my face with his palm when a car passed in front of us leaving unpleasant smoke.

When we reached where his car is parked, that's the time he removed his palm all over my face.

"You're 17 yet you're too short, I can even cover your face." He said and opened the front seat.

"You looked like a gorilla and I didn't even complained about it..." but in my mind I always do.

He looked at me with shock expression. "A lot of girls in California is drooling over me! Yet you called me a gorilla!"

I crossed my arms. "Well, I'm not like those girls. It's too amazing to see a doctor with a gorilla face."

"You look like a duck when you pout!"

"You look like a gorilla when you flare your nose!" I stick my tongue out.

He pushed me inside. "I really don't get it why all of those people you're my sister." He complained.

I rolled my eyes and stick my tongue again.

He closed the door after he flicked my forehead. He walked around and enter the car.

"I'm hungry..." I poke his arms. We're on the road, stuck in traffic.

He reached something on the backseat. Ny eyes widened when he give me a box of donut.

"This day and tomorrow will be your cheat day." He said. "So, whatever you wanna do, just do it."

"What if I'm out of breath doing things I want?" I asked him.

"I'm here, I have my things. Don't worry about it."
