Confusion

"Why aren't you dressed yet?" His mother says in a aggravated tone. "If you don't hurry up you'll be late for school, I'm not driving you today as I can't be late today for work."

"What? School?" John mumbles clearly confused by the woman standing in front of him.

"Please speak up so I can hear you" his mom says while turning around to inspect a pot with crawfish inside. " And go get dressed into something other than jeans please."

John almost in a daze just stared at her trying to understand his situation

'But she died? Right?' John thought while staring at her backside.

"Son I don't want to tell you again!" She exclaims sending a glare at him from over her shoulder.

"Ah! Sorry!" He snaps out of it and scampers off to his room.

'Just what is going on? Just how is she here?' He thinks to himself while going through his still opened closet.

'Didn't I also throw this out?' He thinks to himself as he stared at his uniform with the words [Sakura] written upon it.

'Did I reincarnate? If so is this some sick joke? Some type of enjoyment from manipulating with my life?' John can't help but contemplate as he fixes up the buttons to his shirt.

'No, as far as I know,I didn't die.... maybe time travel? That would make sense.' He then grabs his phone from his bedside.

'June 22, 2005!' He exclaims In his mind.

John then feels an explosion of excitement 'I time traveled! Who can say that huh?! I, John Fan time travelled!' He exclaims to himself while throwing his hand which held his phone into the air.

"FOODS READY, COME DOWN TO EAT!"

"Be right down!" He yelps as he hurries to put on his socks

"I need to go shopping after work for more Ingredients so you won't be getting your favorite lunch today." His mom tells him informatively. "Please don't be late today, we've already had 2 calls this week."

"Um, sure" he replies quickly still not yet used to her being in front of him.

"Well I'll be going now, please be safe on your way to and from school son" his mother says as she gathers her things and walks out of the kitchen.

'Still stern as always mom' he thinks to himself tenderly 'I only realized just how much I missed it'

John now turns back to his food and finishes making sure to also rinse off his plate also.

Grabbing his lunch he then sits upon the floor near his door and slips on his shoes.

He then gets up and taps his feet making sure it's secure and heads outside.

He then puts his hand up blocking the sunshine from burning into his eyes.

'A wonderful day to arrive back on' he thinks to himself lowering himself and seeing the clear and beautiful sky.

"Oh John! Your out earlier than usual? Is it a special occasion?" A old lady who was watering her garden asks him seeing her neighbors friend out and about.

"I guess you could say that" John laughs to himself while scratching the back of his head.

"Well That's good, if you ever need anything, stop by and visit, I'll be happy to help Yu's son." The kind old lady replies

"I'll be sure to thank you when that time comes." John says while walking away now with a smile upon his face

'Aunt Hong Is just as I remember' he thinks still smiling
