Meditating

Walking through that desolate landscape, the low and arid vegetation stretched all around me. The trees were dry and twisted, seeming to have been deprived of life for a long time.

I gazed at the horizon, taking a deep breath to absorb the atmosphere of the place, which was almost devoid of life.

I whispered to myself, "Inventory!" And, as before, the screen with the list of my items appeared in front of me.

I decided it was time to try one of the new acquisitions. I raised my arm and with the tip of my index finger, I pressed on the katana. To my surprise, it simply materialized in the air in a magical and instantaneous manner. I gripped the white handle of the katana, feeling its solid presence in my hand.

"Shinn!"

The sound that echoed when I drew the blade from its sheath was impressive. The katana was exceptionally hard and sharp, its color was black with red flame patterns running down the blade. It was a masterpiece, and I was captivated by its beauty.

I held the katana with one hand while holding the white sheath with the other. With a smooth motion, I slid the blade back into the sheath, feeling the satisfaction of knowing I was no longer unarmed.

With the katana securely strapped to my waist, I felt the weight of the legendary blade by my side. It was comforting to know that I was now armed with such a formidable weapon. With a gentle gesture, I raised my arm and pressed my finger on the second item on the list, the knight-level breathing technique.

As soon as I touched it, a new screen appeared, similar to opening a tab in a browser. The screen asked if I wanted to use the item:

I didn't hesitate for a moment. I immediately pressed the first option, "Yes." The sensation that followed was unique. In my mind, a flood of information about the breathing technique inundated my thoughts. It was as if I had been born knowing this technique, with meticulous details about the number of breaths per minute, the proper time to hold the breath, the correct positions, and all aspects of the technique.

I took a deep breath, feeling the air fill my lungs, and then released it in a controlled manner. It was as if the knowledge was engraved in my mind forever; I would never forget the technique. It was a valuable gift that would allow me to strengthen my body and become a better warrior in this new magical world.

After fully absorbing the knowledge of the breathing technique, I blinked my eyes a few times, surprised at how quickly I had assimilated the learning. Now, all I needed to do was practice and refine my skills.

I then raised my head and turned my gaze to the floating system screen.

Having learned the breathing technique, I was ready to continue exploring the items that the system had granted me. I raised my arm again and pressed my finger on the third item on the list, the "God of Speed Martial Art."

Instantly, another flood of information rushed through my mind. It was as if I were witnessing a series of high-speed fights, movements, and strikes. My head throbbed a bit as my mind filled with images and memories.

I felt a slight pain in my right temple and raised one hand, gently massaging it as my brain processed the information. The images were impressive, with precise strikes and incredibly agile movements. This martial art focused on dexterity and speed, allowing the practitioner to execute clean and precise moves in a split second.

I took a deep breath to calm my mind and allow all the information to settle. I knew that mastering this martial art would take time and practice, but the possibilities it offered were intriguing.

I looked at the last item on the inventory list, the supplement. With a touch, a red pill appeared in my hand. The pill was lightweight and had no discernible smell. Without wasting time, I swallowed the pill and felt it slide down my throat.

After ingesting it, I settled down with my legs crossed and took a deep breath. Following the memories that had been activated in my mind, I began to meditate deeply. I focused on my breathing, inhaling and exhaling in a controlled and synchronized manner.

The pill began to take effect, strengthening my body from the inside, as nutrients entered my bloodstream, causing this body to almost smile; it was the first time this primitive body had tasted high-quality nutrients.

I could feel the life energy spreading and revitalizing my muscles and bones. It was a powerful sensation, as if I were being infused with new vitality.

As I delved into meditation, I could feel the life energy flowing through me, strengthening every muscle and fiber of my body.

I ignored the mosquitoes buzzing around me, attracted by my presence. The sounds of distant animals were just a background murmur, as my focus was entirely on my practice.

Each breath was an opportunity to strengthen myself, and I made the most of it. My senses seemed amplified, as if I were tuned into the flow of nature around me.

My deep meditation continued, and in the distance, the sky gradually began to brighten with the arrival of dawn. The first rays of the sun broke the horizon, painting the dark sky with shades of orange, pink, and gold.
