Mu Jingyun's realization..
On reaching home Mu Jingyun carried both the kids inside the house , after making them sit in the living room he called the butler and asked in a freezing tone " What the hell were you doing when the nanny took the kids out with her and what happened to the bodyguards ?", " Sir the nanny told me that the young miss wanted to have desserts from a popular store that opened a month ago so I went to get it and as the nanny had taken care of the little masters for past two years I rest assured and went out , but upon returning I saw all the bodyguards fainted so I woke them up to ask what happened by the time I could ask Sir had already returned, Sir you can now ask them personally about what happened ", said the butler.
Listening to the butler Jingyun followed him to the room where the bodyguards were , as soon as he entered he started questioning them about what happened , to which they said " Sir actually today afternoon the nanny miss Lee came to us and offered some tea to us as she would often offer us some tea we drank it but after 10 mins we started feeling dizzy and lost consciousness, the tea was most likely drugged with strong sleep inducing agents otherwise it wouldn't have worked on us". Hearing out the bodyguards Jingyun turned towards the butler and asked him to find all details about the nanny and investigate this matter, after giving out instructions to the butler he returned to the living room and sat down with the kids.
Seeing that their father returned Xue'er climbs on her dad's lap and started saying " daddy can we go and play with feng'er brother and fairy sister on this weekend?", hearing this Jingyun felt quite suprised because he knows very well that his kids are not the type to get attached to people very quickly but now it seems that the kids really like this women who saved them. So Jingyun asked " Xue'er, Tian'er do you both like this aunt very much that you want to meet her again?", hearing this both the kids nodded and Xue'er said " Xue'er likes fairy sister the most , she is so beautiful and cool and she also treats us so gently and we also wish that she could be our mommy just like feng'er brother ". This startled Jingyun quite a lot and a memory buried deep in his hearted started to resurface, calming himself he turned to the kids and said " You both can go and play but you have to either follow me or your uncle Wuchen and I'll be calling your aunt back to take care of you both for a while so now go back to your room and sleep" , hearing this Xue'er gave him a big kiss on his cheek and said " thanks daddy " after that the two kids returned back to their room.
Seeing that they left he headed towards the study, after going inside the study room he locked the door and took out the note that he got from his assistant , looking at the handwriting on the note he always felt it to be familiar until the kids mentioned their mother today that he remembered where he had seen this handwriting. Sitting on his chair he bent down and and opened the last drawer of his table which had been unopened since the past 6 years, on opening the drawer he took out a delicate looking box and opened it .
Laying inside the box was a note and a ring , seeing this he started recalling the past, he had met that women only twice, once was in the club that night , he was usually not the type to go to a club but that day Wuchen asked him out to meet some of their old friends so he went. On reaching there seeing that he had been early he sat down at a corner and started drinking then suddenly a very beautiful woman came towards him and pulled him up and before he could react he had already followed her to the hotel reception and saw her booking a suite and after that she again started pulling him, she looked a bit not right to him as her face had become red and she also seemed to be in a hurry , out of curiosity of what the lady wanted to do he still followed her until they entered the suite and the lady locked the door from inside and pushed him on the bed .
His mind had literally blanked out at the moment, then the lady said that she was drugged and asked him if he could help her . Normally he would outright reject such an offer but that day he didn't know what happened that he agreed and then they spent a wild night . The next day when he woke up he saw an empty room and a note with a ring left on the side table were the only traces left of her presence.
The next time they met was when he was on his way back home after a meeting in another town, he encountered an accident and the car in front had hit the lamppost , the driver of that car was asking for help so he asked his driver to stop the car and he went outside to see if he could save the person inside, but on seeing the person inside covered in blood he was shocked but then he quickly recovered his mind and took her to the hospital. That person was the one he spent a night with 8 months ago and seeing that she was pregnant he asked her driver how long this lady was pregnant, on hearing that she was in her eighth month he was sure that the kids were his.
Then they went to the hospital and she was taken to the ICU to prematurely deliver the babies . He kept going around in circles in front of the ward , this was the first time that he had felt so anxious . After the doctor and the nurse came out they congratulated him and said he became a father of twin children a boy and a girl.
The feeling of holding his kids brought him a lot of happiness and satisfaction which he had never expected, he was thankful to the woman who gave birth to his kids and decided to take care of her but things never go as planned , he had just left the hospital for an hour to get some daily necessities and on coming back he found that the lady had already left after she had been misinformed about having lost her kids .
After the incident he tried finding her for about 3 years but to no avail so he eventually left it all to fate as she had written on the note that night if fate allows they would surely meet again. Snapping out of his memory Jingyun compared the note he got today and the one 6 years back and he was shocked to find out that the handwriting on both the notes were the same. Then he took the ring and wore it on his ring finger , looking at the ring he smirked and murmured to himself " this time I won't let you run away".
