Chapter 2: Are We To Calm!?

After eating, Aki went upstairs to her room and immediately got on her computer. 'It's weird to think that this just randomly happened. Moreover, It feels awkward to move...' She thought. "Hmm... It may be better to take a nap..." She mumbled. After a moment, she nodded to herself and went to her bed, falling asleep quickly.

A few hours later, she woke up and groggily lifted her hand above her face. 'Still small...' She thought. 'Well, I think I can confirm it wasn't a dream at this point...' She thought as she sat up and looked around her room for the second time today. 'It's the same...' She thought.

She stretched a bit as she looked at her clock. 'Ah, it's already one...' She thought as she finished stretching and stood up. "I still have a couple hours before Sana gets home and even longer before dad gets home.' She thought. She sighed.

'I should go through my clothes and see what may fit, though I can already guess it'll only be shirts and hoodies, though they'll be a bit long...' She thought as she started to sort through the piles of dirty laundry in her room.

After a while, there were two large piles, one was full of things that would stay on if Aki were to wear them and the other are things that would fall off of her body. The wear pile is mostly shirts, but it also has a few pairs of pants with adjustable hip sizes. (They have strings that can be tied, they're also all sweatpants.)

'Well, that took a while, but now I have an idea of what I can wear.' Aki thought to herself as she looked at the piles.

"Aki!" Aki's mom yelled from downstairs.

'Is Sana home already?' She thought as she glanced at the clock. 'I guess she didn't have practice today...' She thought as she walked to the door and exited the room. Once she got downstairs she went to the dining room, where she had guessed Sana would be, and saw Sana eating a snack.

Sana's gaze drifted to Aki as she brought food toward her mouth, then, she suddenly stopped and the food fell from her chopsticks. "See? Aki-chan's a girl now." Their mother said with a light expression. Silently, Sana stood up after putting her chopsticks down.

"Is something wrong?" Aki asked as she tilted her head slightly in confusion.

"Ir..." Sana said something under her breath, though only the last syllable was heard.

"Huh?" Aki asked.

"That's not fair!" Sana yelled as she slammed her hands on the table. "Why do you get to be so cute!? You're my useless brother!" She yelled as she walked up to Aki in anger. "Also, why did you use chan!?" Sana asked angrily as she looked at her mother.

"Now, now, calm down Sana-chan." Their mom said. "We don't even know how this happened..." She added.

"How can you be so calm about this!? Not only was he changed into a girl, but he's prettier than me! It's not fair!" She yelled.

'Oh yeah, I still haven't looked in the mirror...' Aki thought as she looked down at her hand. 'This makes me curious.' She thought. "Ah, that's right... I'm gonna need new clothes." Aki said.

"Are you ignoring me!?" She asked with a surprised tone.

"Right, I suppose you will. I hope womens underwear won't be uncomfortable..." Their mom said.

"How can you two be so casual about this!?" Sana asked.

"Calm down, dear. After all, it felt like I was about to have a heartattack when I first saw him." Their mom said. 'Of course, that was for a slightly different reason...' She thought.

"Ah, maybe we can save money if I use some of Sana-chan's old stuff." Aki said.

"Pervert!" Sana yelled.

"They'd just be hand-me-downs, Sana-chan." Their mom said.

"That doesn't matter! He's still a guy on the inside! It's weird!" She protested.

"Aki-chan, make sure to go through your stuff later, we need to know what all needs to be replaced." Their mom said.

"I've already gone through my dirty stuff, I have a pile for stuff I can still wear and a pile for things I can't." Aki said.

"Sana-chan, make sure to go through your stuff to, anything that's to small can go to your brother." she said.

"That sounds weird!" Sana said. "Whatever, I'm going to my room!" She yelled as she walked away angrily.

"Well, that could have been worse... I mean, what if she thought that you were your girlfriend...?" Aki's mom asked. Aki sighed.

"You're really stuck on this morning, aren't you?" Aki asked.

"Of course I am! I was scared half to death that there would be police at the door by tomorrow!" She said.

"Yeah, that's fair..." Aki said blandly with a slight chuckle. "Anyway, I'm sure you'll talk to dad about this, but I take it I won't be getting out of school, and based on the presumed age of this body... It'll probably be middleschool, right?" Aki asked.

"Oh Aki-chan, always with that deductive reasoning." Aki's mom said.

"Th-that's not an answer..." Aki said as she took a half-step forward.

"I'll have to speak with your father before we know for sure, but it seems likely. Anyway, you should enjoy the time you get off of school, you have at least a month and a half, since the new school year starts soon." Aki's mom said.

"That reminds me..." Aki said as her expression became gloomy. "I was almost done with school..." She said as she slouched a slight amount.

"Don't worry! At least it'll be easier since you already know everything, right?" Her mom said.

"I suppose..." Aki said with the same, depressed tone as before. "Well, I'm gonna go upstairs for now and try to ignore this new body for as long as poss-" Aki was saying when suddenly she realized something. 'I have to pee...' She thought.

"Is something the matter, Aki-chan?" She asked.

"No, I just have to use the bathroom..." Aki said.

"Ah, I see... Well, don't get aroused looking at yourself, 'kay?" Her mom said with a bright expression.

'Was the shine effect really necessary?' Aki thought to herself. "I'll be fine... Probably..." Aki said.

"Did you just admit to being attracted to younger girls?" Aki's mom asked.

"My body transformed which means that hormones are different too, I don't know what effects that'll have." Aki said.

"Ah, I see." Aki's mom said as she stared daggers at Aki.

"Anyway, bathroom." She said as she walked away.
