I sat on the counter, and his lips rammed my lips all over. Fuck what am I doing right now?

I broke the kiss immediately and got off the counter. "I'm sorry, that was a-"

"A mistake right? I know," I mumbled, my heart-shattering at his words. The kiss meant nothing to him other than it being a mistake.

"Anika, I-"

"You don't need to apologize. It's a mistake so let's forget this ever happened," I declared, and turned around as I walked out of the kitchen.

I sighed silently as I picked up my phone from the table and left his house. I got outside his house and hopped inside my car.

As soon I got inside the car, I hit my hand hard repeatedly on the wheel. Shit, what just happened? What has come over me?

I ignited the car engine and started driving, heading home. My phone chimed, and I glanced at it to see an incoming call from Jonathan.
