#24 Promise
Ishana was now in her room.
The girl immediately laid down on her jumbo-sized bed.
She looked up at the ceiling of her room.
Her mind was still on what her uncle had been talking about with his friends in the living room.
"What does that mean? I never heard anything about what Uncle Abyn said earlier. Uncle Abyn and Aunt Leni never talked about it." Ishana spoke to herself.
As the girl was confused by her thoughts, suddenly the cell phone beside her vibrated.
Ishana slowly reached for her cell phone and looked at the notification.
Ishana furrowed her brow as she read the message from Syifa.
"I never want to see that man again." That was the message Ishana had just received
"What's wrong with her that she's angry like this?" Ishana asked herself.
"Hmm, I better call him. I'll ask him what happened to them earlier." The girl said.
Just as Ishana was about to call Syifa, her cell phone suddenly rang.
Ishana quickly threw her cell phone away from her.
"Why is a demon like her suddenly calling me? Didn't we talk earlier?" Again Ishana spoke to herself.
Finally, after a few seconds, the ringing stopped.
Ishana grabbed her cell phone again and made sure that the person would not call her again.
Looking at her phone screen, Ishana breathed a sigh of relief when she was sure that the person was no longer calling her.
"Huft, finally I'm not bothered by that one demon anymore, I can finally calm down," Ishana said.
Just as she was about to leave the bed for the bathroom, her cell phone suddenly rang again.
Ishana immediately hardened her jaw when she saw an incoming message from Askara.
"Why can't he make me calm down just a little? Does he always have to bother me?" Asked an annoyed Ishana.
The girl immediately opened the message with a feeling of annoyance.
"Pick up the phone or I will break into your house and meet you in your room." Suddenly Ishana was shocked when she read the contents of the chat from Aska.
She ran to her window and was surprised to see Aska's car in front of her house.

Ishana was again surprised by the ringing sound of her cell phone.

The name was immediately displayed on Ishana's cell phone screen.
This time, without thinking, Ishana immediately received a call from Aska.
"Hello..."
Just as Aska said that one word, Ishana suddenly had a lot to say.
"What are you doing here? Don't come into my house. I'm not in the mood to see you Aska. You're not crazy." The girl said.
"I'm not crazy, I'm just here to pick you up as I promised." The man said.
When Ishana heard the man's words, her forehead immediately frowned.
"What do you mean, what promise? I don't have the promise to make to you, and vice versa."
"Don't tell me if you're not ready and haven't changed at all," Aska said.
Ishana looked down at her clothes.
The girl looked even more confused by what Devin said to her.
"What does that mean? What does it matter if I've changed or not? Who do you think you are?" Ishana asked irritably.
"Did you forget what I said at the cafe earlier? I told you that I would pick you up because mommy asked you to come to the house because there was dinner." Aska said.
When she heard that, Ishana immediately panicked.
She glanced at the clock on the wall of her room.
"I did forget the promise, but are you crazy Aska? It's still 5 pm. There are still two hours left. What did you come here so early for?" Tanya
Ishana could hear Aska laughing from her cell phone.
"It's a good thing I came early, if I had picked you up at 7, you probably wouldn't have remembered and fallen asleep." The man said which immediately made Ishana even more annoyed.
Ishana who did not want to lose tried to evade the man's words.
"I won't forget, I was just testing you." The girl said.
"Why are you testing me now? I'm not even your husband yet, why test me?" The man said teasing Ishana.
Ishana, who initially did not want to respond to the man's words, immediately thought of something.
"Hmm, precisely because you are still my future husband, I have to test whether you deserve me or not. I don't want me to make the wrong choice later."
"Hmm, I'm sure you won't make the wrong choice."
"When you said that, my uncertainty about my own choice grew. I have more doubts about you." The girl said while holding back her smile.
Ishana could hear Aska muttering into her phone.
Even though Ishana didn't hear the man's words, she was sure that Aska was upset with her.
"Hmm, whatever you say, now you better be ready. I'll be waiting inside your house." The man said in an annoyed tone.
Ishana who heard it immediately panicked.
"No, you don't have to come in. You'd better wait in your car or wait for me at the cafe across the compound from my house. There are many interesting cafes there. You can wait there." The girl said.
"No, I don't want to wait there, I'll wait for you inside. Besides, I have to ask my uncle and aunt for permission to take you. I don't want them to think I kidnapped you or that I'm rude for taking you without their permission." Aska said.
Ishana tried to think of ideas on how to keep Aska from going inside her house to meet her uncle and aunt.
It was nothing, Ishana just didn't want Aska to meet her uncle, and lips later, the man would be asked questions related to their wedding plans.
Ishana didn't want Aska to get the wrong answers.
"I beg you to just follow what I say Aska. You don't need to go into the house, because I will need a long time to get ready. Uncle and aunt can ask about our wedding plans later." The girl explained to Aska.
"Then where's the problem? What's wrong with them asking about our wedding plans? It's because they care about us, right?" Aska replied.
Ishana was getting more and more annoyed as she heard Aska's answer.
"Don't you understand what I'm saying at all? I'm just afraid that if you answer the wrong questions from them that it will make all our original plans fall apart." The girl said.
"Ahhh, I see. So, that's all you're afraid of right?"
"That's all? Are you crazy? You heard what I said, if you get the answer wrong just a little bit, then our plans will all fall apart Aska."
"You don't have to be afraid Ishana, I won't make a mistake like that, I'll answer their questions as best I can. You just calm down, okay?"
