Chapter 2
Asahi uncomfortably moved his body, squinting and blinking his eyes at a rapid pace. This ceiling didn't look familiar at all, and it wasn't something like a hospital either. The last thing he remembers is the headlights of a truck.
"No...."
He sat up quicker than lightning, turning his head back and forth as he looked around him. He touched himself and his body, making sure nothing was wrong or out of place.
The room was well-off, had a decent bed, and was quite spacious, it had a few luxury themes but nothing too insane. It was all so confusing, one second he was walking across the street and now he was here.
Nothing was hurting, he could move perfectly fine, but he didn't know why. The door to the room then opened to a blonde-haired young male who seemed to be around his age.
A smug grin, spiky and crazy blonde hair, and an unbuttoned collar of his school uniform. He knew this person all too well. He had been around multiple different people like him before.
"You're awake? After taking that ball to the head I expected you to be out longer."
The blonde-haired student's grin only got wider as he reached out and gripped Asahi's hair pulling him toward him.
But, Asahi still wasn't in the mood, he was angrier than ever and he couldn't really care less about anyone right now. Asahi grabbed his wrist, squeezing it as hard as possible before bending his fingers back.
"AGHH...."
Just then at that moment, memories flooded his brain, he had no idea why but it was completely new and different memories of his own.
With the same name, Asahi grew up in one of the top 5 most renowned clans.
Nurturing strong magic martial artists, they quickly made a footing in the world. Not many others could dare compete with them. Asahi's mother gave birth to him and his twin brother. By the time they were 5, Asahi had become the black sheep of the family. His aptitude for magic was low, and his talent for martial arts was too.
Deemed useless by his very own family shattered him, to try and get stronger he chose to attend Marbroy Magic Academy. But it was all the same there, strong noble talent who looked down on others, a hierarchy meant to separate the trash from the gold.
He was placed in class 1-D, where only the worst go. 1-D students didn't get the same opportunities as other classes and were always being ridiculed no matter where they went.
Asahi was at the center of the bullying. It was at the point where everyone knew but no one cared. He was weak and they knew he wouldn't amount to much.
They even went so far as to make a girl ask out Asahi. After accepting the confession he started dating the girl, and for a few weeks his world lit up. It wasn't until he got sent a video of his very own girlfriend cheating on him that he would almost flip out.
He came to find out that, she never loved him and it was another one of their tricks to ruin his life. And a few days after that, while outside a magic-enhanced ball flew directly at his head, knocking him out.
In reality, Asahi died from blunt force trauma. But now, the new Asahi had awoken in his body.
"...Is all of this for real?"
He looked at the bully on the floor, Asahi just bent his fingers little by little.
"AGhh! Stop! Stop! I'm SORRY! OW!.."
"Sorry? After everything you've done, you think a sorry will fix it?"
It was like the memories of his old self and his new self were mixing, he felt extreme hate and rage.
Asahi would then knee his face in, "Tear." He called out his name.
Holding his bleeding nose, he looked up with a blur in his eyes, "W-What...?"
Another knee struck his face.
Asahi just let him go and walked off until something appeared before him.

The aptitude, talent, and vitality you have meant everything in this world. The higher your aptitude, the stronger and faster you can grow. The more talented you were, the more skills you could obtain and master. The more vitality you had, the stronger your life force and strength were.
Asahi had low everything, the aptitude needed to even be respected or seen as a magic martial artist is around 1.5, and even then you have a long way to go.
The highest ever-recorded aptitude was around 22.5 and the highest vitality was 465.
Walking out of the room, Asahi saw students in a black and golden uniform, the higher tier students with more gold on theirs and the lower tiers with less. Since he was a lower tier, his uniform didn't have much gold.
He saw a group of students walking toward the direction he was in, more gold on their uniform than usual, meaning they were high-tiers. He just watched them get closer until the ring leader type spoke up.
"Hey, hey! It's the class D loser. Haha!"
In the middle, a guy with auburn hair, ear piercings, and green eyes snickered as he insulted Asahi.
in a snarky tone, a girl who clung to his arm said, "Kenta, don't be too harsh!.....you don't wanna hurt the kid's feelings!"
The golden-haired girl giggled and so did the lackeys behind her and Kenta. Asahi didn't care, he was completely unbothered by their words.
Kenta then just shook his head in a disappointed manner and started walking again, "Pathetic."
Kenta's face then hit the floor, as Asahi dragged his foot back into place after tripping him in front of everyone. Asahi looked down at Kenta with a sneer, sarcastic pity in his eyes.
Kenta felt rage building up inside of him, his thoughts ran wild, and he could only think of what others felt about him now.
'This bastard...this little sh*t!...I'll kill him! How DARE he?! Dammit...now everyone will think I'm some weak bastard!'
His lackeys and girl were shocked by this, they didn't expect the quiet Asahi to do something back. Kenta stood up slowly, looking to around to see eyes on him and that same scornful look on Asahi's face. Veins bulged from his forehead and his jaw clenched.
"A-Are you okay, babe?" The blonde-haired lass asked in a worrisome voice.
Kenta lunged at Asahi, gripping his collar and throwing him to the wall. Asahi just looked in his eyes, smirking.
"What?...you mad? idiot."
This only fueled the fire as Kenta started to raise his fist at Asahi's face.
Asahi saw the incoming punch and ducked, striking Kenta clean in the liver.
"AGHK!!.."
Kenta dropped to the floor, groveling as he held his side and wished for the pain to go away.
'F-F*ck...that hurts like hell.....why?..I can't even stand..'
"I didn't expect you to be so weak, is this a high-tier? Or are you just nothing without your magic?"
"Shu-SHUTUP!"
His girlfriend ran over to him on the floor, trying to help him up.
"K-Kenta..are you alright? oh my god.."
His lackeys in the background just watched in shock, confused about how this loser with a weak aptitude and rank managed to knock down a well-respected high-tier in school.
