Deal and Balor

Masato stood in front of Alaya, waiting for her to speak.

"What deal?" He inquired. He had guessed pretty much, but he still waited for her to say it.

"I want to work for me, in return, I'll let you meet her." Alaya said without skipping a beat as if she was not talking about an already dead person.

Masato raised his brow and asked, "You will reincarnate her?"

"No. As I've said, I'll let you meet her." Alaya shook her head and said, "I'll give you a skill that lets you do the same thing as the Throne of Heroes. What you do with it, none of it matters to me."

Masato looked at her in surprise. If his guess is not wrong, then the skill Alaya would give him will allow him to change any person into data and engraved it onto his soul, just how Throne of Heroes does it.

That means, he can summon them whenever he requires.

Indeed, this was something Masato would never let slip from his hands.

After some time, he asked, "What do I need to do then?"

"Fight against things I deem dangerous, that's all." Alaya answered.

Masato nodded. It was pretty much what he had guessed before, "Are you asking me to become your dog? I hope you are not insulting me with this, Alayashiki."

The silence again returned to the surroundings before Alaya shook her head, "You are wrong. You will have your complete choice to choose whether you want to help me or not. If not, I have other people to take care of such things."

Masato raised his hand and rubbed his chin. It was not a bad offer, to be honest. All he needed to do was clear some pesky bugs - consider in the eyes of Alaya - and he would get such a good skill.

'Adding the fact that I really want to meet her again, though I can't resurrect her currently, the same could not be said in the future.'

"Alright. I'll take you up for that offer."

Alaya nodded with a small smile before she waved her hand and a ball of gold entered Masato's body.

A system notification popped in front of him, but he ignored it for now. He will check it once he is, at least, in the physical plan of humanity.

"Then I'll send you into a particular timeline. All you need is to clear the grail. How you do it, and how you achieve it; it all depends on you and no one else."

Masato nodded at Alaya's explanation before a golden circle bloomed under him and he vanished from there.

In Fuyuki City, near the riverside. At the bridge that connected the two sides of the town, a magic circle bloomed there and a person appeared above it.

It was Masato who was still in his servant attire.

Currently, it was night as Masato silently stood on the bridge as the wind struck his face over and over, his hair gently flowing behind him.

He could hear the sound of cars passing below the bridge over and over.

If anyone saw him, then they would definitely be able to see his resemblance to a Heroic Spirit.

But, suddenly, Masato gripped his head and internally shouted.

'How!? How the fuck my background become something from Fate!?' He still had the memories of all the stories that this… creator gave him. So he was aware of the fate of those who were born in Fate.

'Calm down, Masato! I still have my plot armor aka The Gamer System! I'll be alright!'

Even though he had gained memories of his past, it didn't affect him too much. EXcept for the fact that he might become more arrogant and prideful, he was pretty much the same.

Of course, that didn't mean he cared not for his past. In fact, he still knew the reason for his birth and how he was born to protect.

But…

'I am not a messiah type… I'm more of an observer…'

He never really deeply cared about humanity personally. Indeed, he was born as the protector of humanity and to stop its EXtinction. But as long as humanity was not perishing, he didn't have to save every single person he saw.

Indeed, he was born to love humanity and the world, but again, that didn't mean he was going to become the Hero of Justice or anything.

"I am still me who loves his mother (shamelessly)... just that I have another duty to stop the extinction. And to be honest, even if it was not present, I would still try to stop it. After all, the world where there are no humans would be quite a boring place."

He said as he became quiet, only the sound of cars passing was left.

"Say… Balor… how long are you going to just stalk me?"

Just as his voice fell, a silhouette of a girl appeared beside him before taking the shape of a beautiful girl.

She had golden hair with pointed ears. She was dressed in an elaborate red gown as it gently waved in the wind.

She looked at Masato and smiled. Her smile was anything but gentle, it was more like a playful, "I've waited for such a long time for this moment, Aster…"

She floats and gently wraps her hands around Masato and says, "Or should I call you Masato now?"

"I prefer Masato, so it would be appreciated if you do so."

"Masato… Aster… Master…" She looked at him with a little playful smile on her face, "It is all the same to me. Whether you are Masato or Aster, you are mine."

Masato's eyes narrowed at her as he said, "You've not changed, Balor. Still the same possessive personality."

"I am the Goddess of Death, Balor! And I've deemed you worthy enough to stand by my side as my husband," Her hand reaching his cheek as she slowly trailed her finger on it, "You are not allowed to have anyone else but me, Masato."

"So, now that you've regained your memories, you should forget about those women from that world and devote yourself to your goddess."

Masato wryly smiled, "You do know that I can't do that."

"Oh," Balor's smile changed into a grin as she whispered into his ear, "It is not too late for me to kill them."

Masato's smile vanished and was the same as any emotion on his face. He looked at that blond beauty and said, "If you dare to--"

"Then what?" Balor laughed as she floated behind him and dropped her hands on his shoulders, "You can't do anything, my dear Hero. I am you and you are me, killing me is the same as killing yourself."

'Great, now I have a fking Yandere released on me…'

Balor looked in the direction of the shore where different containers were placed, "You have my eyes, my dear Hero. Be aware while using them as this goddess will not waste any opportunity to make you mine."

As she said that, she turned into a small golden particle and vanished.

Masato sighed. He knew Balor was not joking. After all, she was the one who killed his lover in the past from the same eyes he currently has.

He was sure if, given the opportunity, she wouldn't waste it and would kill his women.

'I need to be careful from using MEoDP from now on… at least, until I tame this wild goddess of a yandere.'

Thinking internally, he called and opened his system and was surprised by the amount of notification that popped in front of his eyes.

Allows you to kill anything that is within your eyes.

Warning: As the eyes belong to Balor, there is a high chance that she can overlap your authority and use them with you as her hub.

<<Clairvoyance: EX>>

Allows you to see the past, present, and future of the world. But, in reality, you are peering into the root of the world to see the past, present, and future.

Warning: If your brain is not able to take all the knowledge, you might end up self-destructing yourself.

<<King's Decree: A>>

Only those who have once lived the life of a King can have this skill.

Allows you to lead and submit those that have goodwill towards you. They will treat you as their leader, King, and lord.

Gives you the passive aura of a King. Those, who are weaker than you, will be afraid to make a move against you.

-50% in all skill's energy usage if used within your territory.

<<Knowledge of Melee Combat: A>>

It is a methodology regarding crowd-combat in which friends and foes are all jumbled together. Not the ability to take command of a military force, but combat techniques to persevere as a single warrior within the troops of an army

<<Knowledge of Sowa: A>>

It is a special ability that prevents the reduction of accuracy regardless of how many times the same technique has been used on the same foe. In other words, the ability to "render one's attacks unreadable to the enemy".

<<Magic Construct: A+++>>

A skill is given to those who have learned the core mysteries of Magic. Allows one to create, destroy, and reshape any magic seen once or for a certain period of time.

<<Constructs Creation: EX>>

Users can change anything/everything, including matter/energy, elements, essences, properties, forces, powers, concepts, etc., into tools, objects, weapons, and other items, create semi-living constructs, and/or create structures/buildings of varying permanence. Users who have mastered this ability can use it for almost any situation, creating anything they need.

Limitations:

May be unable to create substances/forces, being limited to shaping from already existing sources.

Construct structural strength may be limited by the user's will.

In most cases, unless the constructs are made of solid matter, they will return back into their original state if the User becomes unconscious, leaves the proximity, or otherwise loses contact/control of the item.

May be limited on how complicated constructs they can create (i.e. no/limited amount of moving parts).

<<Absolute Contract: EX>>

A skill is given by Alayashiki. It creates an artificial Throne of Heroes within you. Any person who contracts with you through it, he/she will become pure data and engraved within your soul, allowing you to summon them anywhere you want.

Warning: The person needs to have, at least, 70 obedience for the contract to work.

<<Eternal Arms Mastership: EX>>

Prevents degradation of fighting skills when under the effect of mental hindrance.

<<Primeval Runes/18 Primordial Runes: EX>>

Condense wisdom and knowledge of Gods. These runes allow the user to do anything as long as he can interpret the meaning behind them.

<<Independent Manifestation: EX>>

It is a special Skill that permits unsupported manifestation into reality, without the necessity of energy cost or of summoning by a Master; effectively, the Skill serves as an enhanced version of Independent Action. This skill signifies a confirmed existence.

Those with this skill have resistance to instant death and time-control attacks.

<<Magic Resistance: D+>>

Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether.

Someone who has once lost something important to himself, you would go to any limit to avenge those who have done bad to you.

<<God Slayer>>

As the Slayer of Gods, you and your weapon would have an EXtra effect on Divine Beings.

Most Divine Beings will have a negative impression of you.

<<Merciful Buddha>>

As someone who was born to love humanity and the world, to spread mercy; you are more patient than any being and are more prone to forgive people if they have not done something unforgivable.

Gains easy affection and obedience with every living creature.

<<Unbreakable Will>>

No matter in which circumstance you are, you will never deter nor be afraid of anything. Your Will has become unbreakable and unshakable.

<<Master's Love>>

Gain easy affection and obedience with your masters.

<<Maiden's Love>>

Gain easy affection and obedience with virgin and innocent girls.

<<Emotionless Killer>>

As someone who has once killed those close to you, you wouldn't be afraid to do it again.

'The fuck… happened here?'

Masato was completely baffled seeing the large number of notifications popping in front of him. He sat on the bridge and started to read them one by one.

After some time, he said to himself, "It seems that the system was able to read most of my past skills and actions to create these perks."

Most of the skills he saw were something he was familiar with and some were given to him after he became a Servant.

What surprised him more was the system update.

Since the time he had gotten the system, it was the first update he has ever got.

'I'll know what it is anyway, but damn my skills have become something even I can't recognize at this point!'

Looking at the skill, he couldn't help but feel exhilarated. He already had most of them in his past life, for example, <<Clairvoyance>>.

He had it since the beginning but it only allowed him to see in the past, present, and future but not the root of the world.

'I'll check them later.' He said and looked towards the shore where he could feel the fluctuations of Mana, 'They won't be thinking of having fun without me now, would they?'
