13 Chapter 12

It obviously seems like Lily does not really care about other people.

Despite being watched by hundreds of students, she does not hesitate to do the things she likes even if it is just for a little bit. A kiss is not something too aggressive in her mind. It is actually even better to show the others that she belongs to him, and he belongs to her. They should be backing off because she will now be on the offensive.

If it involves Sam, probably she would do anything he wants. The fact that she came to defend him, risking her own life in the process has already proven that he definitely means a lot to her.

Lily knows she has competitors. And not just one.

When Lily cut off Marie's finger, it was not just to take revenge for Sam, but also to warn the others.

It was a message, that she will not hesitate even a single second when facing them.

It was the sign of a battle coming.

A full-blown war.

From the moment she heard about the fight, Lily has already used her Invisible spell so that she could be around Sam to help him whenever he needed it. Knowing Sam, she thought that he would really push himself over the limit.

And thankfully, just like Lily thought, she was able to keep his life.

What she has right now with Sam is precious. She is not just a friend, but his savior. Using this as a moral weapon, Lily will soon be able to capture his heart easily. After all, Sam can not push someone whom he owes his life away that simply. At the least, Lily is not going to let that happen.

"Let's go home, Sammy." Their lips are separated. A clear string could be seen connected between the two people.

"That...was my first kiss...It tasted quite sweet..."

"Mine too. Don't worry, we're still going to have a lot more 'first' together."

"I can't be a groom anymore...I'm going to be pregnant...I will give birth to a bunch of brats through my butt..."

"Pfffft! Hahahahaha!" Lily bursts out from laughter. "Stop! You're ridiculous!"

"Hehe." Sam smiles. For some reason, he feels extremely light. The young man feels as if his shoulders have been lifted.

"Okay, jokes aside. I'm going to take full responsibility." Lily stares straight into Sam's eye. "From now on, we're going to move in together!"

"Um...No thanks?" Sam declines the offer.

"How am I going to take responsibility if you're not letting me, dummy?"

"That's just a joke."

"No Sam. That is most definitely NOT a joke."

"Ye....*mmmmhh!!*"

Lily covers Sam's lips with hers once again.

"You can't....*kiss*"

"Mmmhm!! MmmmmM!!"

After another 30 seconds, finally, Lily lets Sam breathe.

"Oh yes. I can force you. And I will. Again and again and again if needed. I mean...Just look at you right now? How are you going to go home in this state? A blind eye, broken bones,... You need someone to take care of you."

"I was thinking about going to the hospital."

"Why go to a hospital when you have the best doctor here?" Lily points at her face.

"But you're not a doctor, though?"

"I'm not, but my dad is."

"I never knew your dad was a doctor? What about your mom?"

"...Sammy..." Lily sighs. "You went through 7 years in the infirmary with me. The middle school then high school. Have you ever noticed that the nurse never changed?"

"No. Not really. Ow! Hey! Don't touch it. It's tender!"

Taking her hand away from Sam's blind eye, she sighs again.

"That's my mom you freaking blind man. Really! What did you really see in that bitch? You had no vision whatsoever. Come on, let's go. I've already called the ambulance for you. You better remember my parents now. They're your inlaws."

"Excuse me? When did I agree to become part of your household?"

"Hahahaha!" Lily laughs.

A bunch of people in white approach Sam, bringing with them an emergency bed.

"Be careful, he's in a lot of pain."

And thus the battle comes to an end.

No one dies, but there was a confession at the end of it.

The next day, Sam wants to back to school. Although he still has bandages and minor wounds all over his body, the young man has long gotten used to such pain.

Just as he is about to exit his room, Lily is already standing.

"I knew you would not take a day off!" She looks at him, her hands put inside the lab coat pockets.

"Well, I'm not a good student. So I need to work hard in order to keep up with everyone. One day off is equal to losing 3 days of learning." He explains.

"Look me in the eyes, Sam!" Lily comes closer to him, her hands put onto his cheeks.

He does what she says. Sam can smell the scent of her perfume. A pleasantly sweet smell, similar to the taste of their kiss.

Lily is not wearing her sunglasses today. He never really paid attention to why Lily would always wear a mask and sunglasses. He never really bothered to ask.

But now, with the weight on his shoulders rendered useless, he can see with his right eye better than before.

Lily has a pair of azure blue eyes.

Like the color of the sky, calm and clear.

"Your eyes are beautiful." Sam mutters.

"I know! Don't change the subject!" She blushes slightly. The first time he ever complimented her. Luckily, everything is being recorded by her phone.

"I will not do anything stupid."

"Will you go around challenging people again?"

"No, I will not."

Good. Keep going.

"Will you talk to Marie again?"

"No, I will not."

Okay, getting closer, starting to warm up.

"Will you be a good boy?"

"What's up with these questions? Yes, I will."

Almost there Lily, almost there.

"Will you be my boyfriend?"

"Yes, I...clever Lily!"

And she misses it.

"I have no idea what you're talking about. Continue. Yes, I will. Say it for me."

"See ya later alligator! I'm running late for class."

"Let me walk you to school. I don't want to let you go alone. Who knows what may happen on your way to school."

"Fine by me. By the way, do you have class today?"

Lily shakes her head.

"No, not really. I don't reaaally need to go to class. I just need to be there for the exams."

"Lucky!"

"I have an idea, Sammy!" She suddenly shouts.

"I'm listening?"

"How about I join you in class!?"

"Hm. The professors don't care what you're doing. As long as you don't make a ruckus out of anything, they are pretty easy. I used to bring things to Marie in other courses so I think it can be the same."

"Don't talk about that woman!"

"Yes, yes."

Lily stops in her track.

"I mean it, Sam! Don't mention her ever."

Her eyes become a little weird. The azure blue turns a bit darker and swirling. Looking at her eyes, Sam nods.

"I will not mention her again."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"That's a good Sam. Come down here, a reward." Lily's eyes turn back to normal immediately upon hearing Sam's promise. Then, she signals him to bow down a little.

*Chu*

A tap on the lips.

"Hehe. That's what you get for being a good boy."
