chapter 10 : A pleasent surprise

After arriving at the doctor's room she knocked at the door, "knock~knock"

an old lady replied in a polite tone from inside the room "come in"

After entering the room Maria looked at the arranged room in front of her, the room has some magic arrays and a lot of health checking equipment, the woman in front of Maria is likely around 70 to 80 years old but her body has a gentle aura around her that gave people hope for living.

Maria greeted her with a polite tone "nice to meet you granny yu", yes her name is yu, she is one of the top 10 best healers on the mainland, she is slightly surprised after seeing the girl in front of her, "oh isn't it princess Maria, ah where are my manners" she got up from the chair and bowed to Maria, "no no granny yu please get up, you are my elder you don't have to do that and please call me Maria instead or else I will feel uncomfortable talking with you"

"As your wish, Maria, now don't stand there like a statue come sit here" granny yu replied and gesture her hand toward the examination table beside her, with the awkward movement Maria set on the examination table, "interesting now that I understand why you came here to meet me and you don't have to worry about anything I currently have something that can relieve your lower body pain"

Hearing that Maria's face became red she didn't think that she would be found out this easily, Maria only nodded she didn't say anything else, on the other hand, granny yu opened the drawer bedside her and pulled a small glass bottle gave it to Maria and said to her.

"This is a pain reliever especially made by me, currently Nisha has a lot of it if you used up all you can have it from Nisha"

(A/N- well our Nisha is really a smart woman :-)

"thank you granny yu you are a life saver" Maria got up from the examination table and bowed to granny yu and begin to head out of the room, but granny yu stopped her and said "Maria wait" Maria paused her steps, she turned back and looked at granny yu with a confusing expression.

"What is it granny yu " granny yu replied with a gentle tone " Maria to tell you the truth Nisha came to me this morning and tested her pregnancy and she found out she is currently pregnant, so I think you should test as well" Maria became slightly shocked hearing Nisha is pregnant she didn't think that Nisha will move this quickly she became happy for Nisha after some time digesting the information granny yu gave her she had a feeling that she wanted to test her pregnancy too.

Without any delay she got in front of the examination table and set on it and said to granny yu who is in front of her "Granny yu I want to test my pregnancy too so please hurry up" hearing that the old lady who is granny yu didn't waste any time and opened her drawer bedside her and pull out a white palm size marble, she gave it to Maria and said to her "Maria try to drop some of your blood into it" Maria did as granny yu said her to do, she bit one of her fingers and dropped some of the blood leaking through her bitten finger into the white marble.

Immediately after doing it, the white marble begin to glow and slowly turned its color into blood red, seeing that granny yu look shocked, she didn't thought that the royal family will be soon having two children's, seeing the shocked look in granny yu's face Maria became anxious, she couldn't take it anymore, she asked granny yu with an anxious tone " granny yu how was the test"

Hearing Maria's anxious voice granny yu woke up from the daze, she looked at Maria then smiled and told her about the result

"Congratulation princess Maria you're going to be a mother" hearing her good news Maria felt very happy, her heart is pounding crazily, she didn't think that she will become a mother this soon, she didn't even marry to Luis yet and now she is currently carrying her beloved husband's baby in her womb.

With a happy tone, Maria hugged granny yu and said to her "thank you granny yu, if not for you suggesting me a pregnancy test I wouldn't have known about it, but please can you keep it a secret from everyone especially my parents, I want to surprise them with a good news" granny yu smiled at her "I promise I will not tell about this matter to anyone, and from now on you have to take care of your body and the child in your womb do you understand, and if you have any problems regarding this matter come and find me ok"

Maria nodded her head "I will granny yu you don't have to worry about it, ok now I have to go and talk to my the baby's father about it, goodbye granny yu take care of yourself" Maria gave granny you a bow and left the room and headed toward her beloved prince courtyard.

It didn't take long, after leaving granny yu's room she quickly ran towards my courtyard with a fastest route possible, her lower body pain is almost gone, the joy of carrying her beloved husband's baby made her pain vanish, and before she knew it she is in front of my room, but her steps paused for a moment she saw the door to enter my room is slightly open, she opened the door seamlessly and entered my room without alerting anyone, but when she saw the person in my room her lips curved upward, a teasing smile could be seen in her lips.
