Payback

Hearing what Ashly responded Kaden just shook his head with immense annoyance before summoning the lion that he had killed during the attack at the school. On his left, the Killer Mantis was waiting with anticipation and now on his right was the lion that looked menacing enough to make a soldier shake in fear.

"What about now?" Kaden said with a smug smile.

However despite what he thought she might do she responded to his question by quickly throwing two orbs in his direction which were quickly blocked and then deflected with his scythe, "I guess you chose the hard way." Kaden said before rushing forward with his other companions.

Ashly tried to target Kaden specifically as she aimed all of her orbs in his direction trying to kill the summoner so the others would fall when he died but to counter this the Killer Mantis placed itself in front of Kaden taking the brunt of the orbs and deflecting them farther away where they blew up not injuring any of them.
