Jeremiah's Past

After enduring all of the chaos that went on that day Kaden went home with heavy feet as he dragged his way home. On the way out of the school, he was stopped by someone unexpected.

"Hey, Kaden!" A voice said shouting to Kaden.

When Kaden turned around he was met with the sight of Jeremiah who was now leaned over heaving in deep breaths to catch the air that he had used to apparently run here.

"What is it?" Kaden questioned with curiosity.

Jeremiah looked back up at Kaden seemingly in contemplation for a moment before saying, "Is it alright if I stay with you?" He asked nervously.

A question mark immediately appeared inside Kaden's mind as he wondered what compelled Jeremiah to ask such a question, "Why do you want to do that?" Kaden questioned in confusion.
