Walk in the Garden

To Henry, it was strange the way Katherine's whole demeanor changed when the princess showed up. Having the confidence to go on and gossip before, she suddenly forgot how to speak when Princess Marie made her presence known.

Henry couldn't help being somewhat amused but he didn't try to outwardly show it.

"Of course, your highness," Katherine finally responded. The woman bowed at the princess before she turned to Henry and patted him on the hand. "Thank you for the dance and walk."

Henry could feel his heart thumping in his chest the moment he was alone with the princess. He didn't know how he had gotten himself into this situation or how she was there by herself without attendants or guards to bother her. It made him nervous and responsible for whatever happened to her while she was in his presence.

"Princess Marie," Henry greeted her finally and bowed. "It's a surprise you're out here despite the line of men likely dying to dance with you in there."
