Celebrating Love

Seasonal vegetable and wild game. Fish from the river on beds of wild rice.

The aroma from all of the food was mesmerizing and Henry couldn't get used to the sight of Commander Lothian serving him his meal.

"Never thought I would see the day…" Henry uttered to the older knight.

"Don't get used to it," Callum uttered back, though there was a smirk on his face.

While the food was passed out, everyone had already had their fill of sweet mead and ale. Strangely enough, another tradition was that Henry and Irene had to share the same cup. Neither one of them seemed to mind after all the kissing and other things they had been up to the past few months.

By the time a fiddler had set up in the corner to play music for them to dance to and a vocalist stood by his side, Henry and his now wife were in high spirits as the strong mead coursed through their veins. Henry could only tell it was affecting her because her cheeks were turning pink.
