I didn't realize that I became so relaxed in his embrace and sniffed in slightly to enjoy the scent.
"No, I shouldn't be enjoying this,'' I told myself.
"You shouldn't worry about these things, try going to bed now," he said to me.
My instincts wanted to free myself from his embrace, but my body refused to comply. The harder I tried to free myself, the more my body relaxed, and I wasn't sure what was happening to me.
As if he felt that I was uncomfortable, he took his arms off me and laid me down gently on the pillow. Staring into his eye, my body was temporarily paralyzed.
"Goodnight, Sage," he said to me and stepped down from the bed to return to the couch.
After he had left the bed, my body felt an immersed kind of relaxation, my mind was void of any negative thoughts that would prevent me from having a proper rest.
Gradually, my eyes closed up until I drifted off into Dreamland without knowing it.
