I thought that it was going to be a smooth walk to the sorcerer's cottage but I was wrong, I was only halfway through the forest when I heard a ruffling sound amongst the bushes.

I didn't take a torch because I believed that it was going to draw attention so I tried to use my eyes to see what it was that made those sounds, but before I turned around, I was hit on the face with so much force that almost knocked me off my foot.

I quickly got back on my feet and saw that I was faced with three Tersian knights who I could not see, however, there was something about me that not many people knew about and that was my ability to navigate even in the dark.

People may think that I make use of my other senses but I can't say that I knew how I did. All three men held their spears so that they faced me directly and that was a dangerous point because I could be struck from every angle.

But those thoughts did not stop me from making my move, I tried to confuse them so I moved a little to the side and the knight in front of me threw his sword which I caught mid-air and implanted into the chest of the knight behind me before he could strike.

So I was left with two, since one was dead but that was where I got it all wrong, more Tersian knights appeared from their hiding places and I was faced with over twelve knights.

The real mystery was what they had come to do in the forest, and why they were on the path to the Princess's cottage. I knew that I was going to be overpowered so I ran.

I planned to take them away from that route as much as possible since they did not know much about the forest. I thought it was going to be a good idea if I misled them.

But that did not work because they caught up to me in no time and pushed me to the ground. When I fell, I felt a sharp torn pierced into my head and I winced in pain.

Whenever I felt such pain, I tended to do things that even I can't believe that I would have done, I roared out like a dragon who had a spear pierced through its neck and I fought like never before.

I had killed three knights before they were able to hold me down again, but they did not hold me down by their power, they blew something onto my face that made me feel weak.

I gradually felt my body go numb and I was completely paralyzed, the last thing I heard was "You three should go get the Princess, we will take care of this one"

Before my eyes closed completely.

However the Tersians were fools, knowing that I was an opponent the right thing to have done was kill me but they didn't, I woke up the next morning and saw myself tied onto a pole.

I didn't realize where I was at first until my senses returned to normal, I looked down and discovered that I was tied to a pole on the roof.

I wondered how they had kept me up there, I knew there was an opening on the roof just in the middle of the hallway that led to the throne room but I had no idea how they managed to get me up there.

I tried to free myself but the knots were doubled and I had nothing but my teeth to work with since my hands were tied as well. Luckily, I spotted the sharp edge of metal nearby and I used my bottom to move closer to it and I was able to set myself free.

I felt that sharp pain in my head and I touched it only to feel that it was sore. I was shocked because none of my wounds ever took that long to heal.

I looked down and saw that Allesio and Sage had just walked past where I was, so I jumped down. They were startled and within me, I whispered "Cowards'' I was even more annoyed that he was with Sage.

And when she placed her hand on my injured forehead I was short of words, I felt the immersed kind of care and love that I had never felt before but I did not want to believe it.

She loved me and I liked her as well, her dedication, compassion, and all-around beauty made me smile inwardly whenever I saw her, but due to certain reasons that had to do with my background, I refused to believe that she was the one I loved.

I tried everything I could to take her off my mind, I treated her like she was nothing and I thought she was going to stop treating me that way but she was persistent and it made me crazy.

Even at the Princess's birthday party, I couldn't resist a dance with her but I ended it as soon as I realized that I was not supposed to like her. I saw the way she stared at Allesio and I wasn't surprised because I knew he loved her but she didn't.

I took them to the King and every other thing happened until we found ourselves just behind the Aeradonians that had been captured.

I didn't want her to get captured but I had no other choice. I knew that I was weak at that point so I needed Allesio by myself. When I saw the fear all over her face it made my heart hurt but I ignored it and chose to be tough.

"Well get over it!" I yelled at her and she was in disbelief.

Allesio turned her around and stared into her eyes. I felt a bit jealous but couldn't let anyone know. I had no idea what happened to her until she left before I said a word and I was amazed at her sudden courage.
