"You need to return back so that you can protect your friend and avenge yourself."

Yang Yang's words catch her off-guard, "What?" Yang Yang looks around, watching them. Yi Hua looks at them, surprised.

She looks at her maid standing up to lunge toward the man, "S-Stop..." Yi Hua mumbles, Lin Yi throws the stone she had picked in the process, it hits him straight at his head and blood gushes out.

Lin Yi grabs Yi Hua and cries as Lin Yi puts her hand on Yi Hua's stabbed wound trying to stop the bleeding, her cries resonating louder.

Gu Chen curses under his breath looking around to make sure no one was around, he then runs towards Yi Hua and raises his hand for the next attack.

The woman is frightened for the next attack which is coming soon and indeed it didn't take long as she feels another scorching injury of the dagger inside her. And as soon as she confronts his eyes, her own eyes waver and widen in shock as tears start building up.

"Why… why?! Why do this to me?!" She mumbles, she holds onto Lin Yi as the maid was crying and hitting the man with all her might.

And with another piercing cold sensation she felt on her stomach, she lets out a shriek as her hands go to hold against the dagger drilled inside, though she can sense every pain and burning sensation on her wounds, her eyes don't leave his face.

Yi Hua drops down on the floor numb watching herself die in the hand of the man she once trusted blindly, "Yang Yang...I can't watch it, no more. Take me back." She says, looking at Lu Yang Yang with red teary eyes.

"W-Why?" Princess Yi Hua finally musters up her courage and questions him despite the feeling of her choking on the air and her words.

The helpless Princess Yi Hua shuts her eyes close as she feels like vomiting out blood, later the blood comes out of her mouth staining her lips and chin in the process.

"Your...H-Highness! You-ah!" Lin Yi was again thrown onto the ground as Gu Chen took hold of Yi Hua, Lin Yi stood up with another stone raising her hand to attack him but her eyes widened seeing Yi Hua against his chest and him putting the knife by her neck.

She opens her eyes watching the person staring at her with cold eyes- which once used to have love and softness.

"W-Why d-did... y-you...ugh... ah!" She screams out loud, falling down on her knees sliding down his body as he couldn't hold onto her, Lin Yi throws the stone and it hits him in his eye making him shout out in pain.

She pukes out more blood, her eyes red and teary as she breathes hard to keep herself alive. Yang Yang approaches Yi Hua's side and wraps his tail around her leg.

She looked up at the person's figure looking down at her, her vision turning blurry but still, she fought to remain conscious. She groans in pain as her body gives up lying flat on the grassy ground, she extends her hand towards Lin Yi as she was running to her but she couldn't grab anything but grasses.

"Y-Your Highness! I am sorry...I couldn't protect you!" Lin Yi shouts, crying her heart out.

"Y-You... w-will... p-pay- uh... I-I... will...come... b-back..." Yi Hua says, ignoring Lin Yi and looking at Gu Chen crying against the ground.

Suddenly a few guards approach them witnessing the sight with terror, "Oh, my! Your Highness!!" A guard shrieks, running to her.

She whimpers looking at him but sees another familiar figure approaching, she tries to fight hard against her consciousness but she finds her eyes slowly closing themselves with the sight of the two blurry figures, watching her from afar.

"That maid! She killed Princess Yi and assaulted me!" Gu Chen shouts, yelping in pain while Lin Yi shakes her head no denying the accusation.

Yi Hua who was ready to leave grits her teeth in rage, Lu Yang Yang looks up, meeting her gaze, red in rage.

"What?! No, he did!" Yi Hua, who was silently tearing up speaks, blinded by her emotional breakdown and rage, she blocks them from taking Lin Yi away but she just watches her limp body against the grasses while her dear friend gets dragged by the guards through her. The man was sneering at Yi Hua's limp body as he gets escorted in the palace by the guards.

"This…is wrong!" Yi Hua screams, falling on her knees as she cries watching her limp body eyeing her with nothing but voidness.

"Lin Yi…don't punish her..." Yi Hua mutters, watching them disappear out of her sight, slowly she feels her body lightweight, Yang Yang walks to her and sits on her lap, and just in a flash of a moment, Yi Hua finds herself back in her room, a crying mess.

"Hua…" Yang Yang calls out for her, licking her hand as she sits still, tears rolling down while her gaze far away staring at nothing, "Do you want to save your best friend? More like, do you want a chance to go back and mend everything?" Yang Yang asks, looking up at her with big pleading eyes.

Yi Hua blinks her eyes, staying still and silent, looking all lost and troubled, "I-I…I need time. This all is so unreal…" Yi Hua stutters out her words, Yang Yang nods his head and hangs it's head down, "Leave me alone till then…will you?"

Yi Hua stares at Yang Yang who seems taken back, "You know that I have my life here? If I return back then who would be here?" Yi Hua asks, slowly getting agitated.

"What?" Yang Yang questions, bewildered.

"I have my life I need to protect and I have Lin Yi with me here and my mom. I might have been a princess in my past as you say but…" She gulps, wiping her tears, troubled she speaks, "I am a normal middle-class girl with no assurance of income to support myself and my mom."

Yang Yang heaves out a sigh, "Things change, okay?" Yi Hua shouts, standing up on her feet and wobbling a little, "Hua…" Yang Yang tears up, "I…just leave me alone." Yi Hua says, her lips trembling as she stumbles towards her bed.

Just when she reaches the bed, a force pushes her back down, "Hua, stop!" Yang Yang shouts, Yi Hua, all surprised and startled screams, turning around and lying on her back as she meets her own pair of fierce eyes looking down at her with rage and hurt.

"You disappoint me..." Yi Hua heard herself, drowning deep into the remorse and pain as she stares into her own translucent eyes hovering above her.
