Let me find the culprit

"Ma…" Yi Hua mumbles, holding Hu Ying's hand, Hu Ying looks at Yi Hua with teary eyes, "What was it? Hm? Did a demon really abduct you? Are you possessed?" Hu Ying asks, shaking her head and crying which had Yi Hua bewildered.

"No, Ma! I am not possessed!" Yi Hua shouts, annoyed. Hu Ying widens her eyes and stares at Yi Hua, shocked. Yi Hua clears her throat and looks away, "Ma…actually I don't remember anything, okay? I just remember waking up in the middle of the forest." Yi Hua says, patting her mother's hand.

"And…a human might also be behind this but I just meant Lin Yi isn't. If she was then she would have been out of the palace with me, isn't it?" Yi Hua says, trying to make her mother understand while Hu Ying wipes her tears, silently.

"Moreover, Lin Yi has been with me for years…I believe in her. I know she is innocent because she loves me just as a sister would. Please, help me take her out of the prison." Yi Hua pleads, her voice shaking as tears invade her eyes.

"Do you really want her back?" Hu Ying asks, Yi Hua nods her head hurriedly, "Then…I will try to talk with Your Majesty." Hu Ying says, inching closer and cupping Yi Hua's face in her palms, Yi Hua smiles.

"But are you sure you are fine? That you are not possessed or something?" Hu Ying asks, scanning her face, "No, Ma. Don't worry…I am fine." Yi Hua says, awkwardly.

'Of course, I possess the body of your daughter.' Yi Hua says to herself, smiling awkwardly on the outside as Hu Ying pulls her in for a hug.

"Your Grace, Prince Yi is here to see you!" The maids shout from outside, the mother-daughter pull away from the hug, Hu Ying looks towards the door and shouts, "Let him in!"

Yi Zhen walks in as soon as the door opens, he smiles at his mother and the door behind him closes, "Brother…I was looking for you." Yi Hua says, standing up as Hu Ying stands up approaching Yi Zhen.

"Yi Zhen…I think your sister is possessed by a demon. She doesn't remember how she got-"

"Ma! I told you I am not possessed!" Yi Hua shouts, cutting Hu Ying in the middle, Hu Ying presses her lips in a thin line and looks at her son who was eyeing Yi Hua suspiciously.

"Then what are we supposed to believe? There is no sign of how you were out." Yi Zhen asks, crossing his arms against his chest and cornering Yi Hua.

"Hua, it's time you play your card. It's time you start plotting your revenge." Lu Yang Yang speaks, after being silent all this while, sitting by in a corner, Yi Hua gulps and looks at Lu Yang Yang through the corner of her eyes.

"I believe there must be something…I can't just vanish out of nowhere, right?" Yi Hua asks back, Yi Zhen chuckles and shakes his head, "That's what I am saying, there is something we couldn't see. So, enlighten me, will you?" Yi Zhen says, mockingly.

Yi Hua pouts, "I am being serious." Yi Hua says, offended.

"I was too. I really mean that, Hua. Nothing makes sense…" Yi Zhen says, heaving out a sigh as he walks closer and places both his arms against Yi Hua's shoulder, squeezing her gently.

"You got to be honest with yourself and of course, to us, okay?" Yi Zhen says, tilting his head and eyeing Yi Hua, "Hua, your brother is right. You got to tell us what happened. We are there for you, remember that." Hu Ying says, caressing Yi Hua's back.

Yi Hua bites her lip and smirks to herself as she thinks of something, "Actually…" She starts, acting dejected and sad, "What is it, Hua? Tell us…we want to help you, hear you out." Yi Zhen says, anticipating patiently as he checks up on her expression.

"Promise me…you all won't get mad at me." Yi Hua says, forcing out all of her emotions to well up tears in her eyes, both Hu Ying and Yi Zhen exchange a glance of bewilderment at Yi Hua's sudden change in demeanor.

"Hua, what is it? You are scaring me." Hu Ying says, grabbing Yi Hua's arm and pulling her around to face her, "Ma…actually, I think…maybe I got drugged with something." Yi Hua says as a drop of tear rolls down her cheeks.

Both Yi Zhen and Hu Ying gasp, "What?" Yi Zhen questions, baffled.

Yi Hua nods her head, looking away as she wipes her tears and smiles evilly before facing them and clearing her throat, "I also…actually have a lover." Yi Hua comes out and as if they were attacked with sudden arrows, their faces were void of colors.

"Hua, you can't have a lover. As you went missing…lots of things occurred. You are already…"

"Ma, that's not important for now. Hua, is he the one who drugged you?" Yi Zhen cuts Hu Ying in between and looks at Yi Hua with rage and worry, "I don't know." She says, looking away.

"How can you not know?" Yi Zhen emphasizes it, and Yi Hua fakes out a sob, "I just know that Lin Yi isn't the one. She probably has no idea about what had happened." Yi Hua adds, wiping her tears and hugging her mother.

Hu Ying looks at Yi Zhen and says, "Yi Zhen, you have to find whoever is trying to hurt your sister."

"Don't worry, Ma. I will lead the patrol and find the culprit." Yi Zhen says, determined.

"Brother…" Yi Hua calls, pulling away from Hu Ying.

"Can I ask you for something?" Yi Hua says, sniffing and looking up at her brother, hopefully with puppy eyes, "What is it?" Yi Zhen says, caressing her head and smiling slightly.

"Can you help me help Lin Yi out of the prison?" Yi Hua asks, pouting and pleading with her eyes, "We need to find the culprit first but I can make sure no one touches her." Yi Zhen says, taking in a deep breath.

"Then let me." Yi Hua says, looking all okay and energized, just opposite of how she seemed a second ago.

"What?" Yi Zhen exclaims, surprised.

"Let me find the culprit. I will find whoever is messing with me." Yi Hua says, determined as she smiles assuringly.
