Chapter 2: I want to help my company flourish even more
Wei Xiaohui looks over to see a man standing there, "Did you hear everything I said?" She ignores his question and asks him a question of her own.
The man nods, "I heard everything you said."
"Then are you still going to stop me?" Wei Xiaohui glares at the man.
However, the man shakes his head, "How could I stop you? After the horrible things that have been done to you, who in their right mind would be able to stop you?"
When Wei Xiaohui hears that, she doesn't look at the guy anymore and turns back to the bridge.
'But I do have a proposition for you." The man smirks as he says this.
"Preposition?" Wei Xiaohui didn't care about what things the man had to say to him. It was pointless now.
"Yes. How about you get revenge on the two, Make them pay for making you suffer like this?" While the man says this, his face turns sinister. He continues,
"Don't give them the satisfaction of letting yourself disappear. Make those two suffer."
"..." Wei Xiaohui couldn't believe somebody would give her such an idea. But what he said wasn't wrong.
Once Wei Xiaohui disappears, Zhou Liqin could do whatever he wants without any guilt.
Why should she give Zhou Liqin freedom because of his infidelities? That cannot happen!
'Zhou Liqin, I will make you regret the day you betray me!' Wei Xiaohui was going to agree to what the man said. But before she could, she fainted from exhaustion.
Her body was tilting forward down into the water! But the man quickly grabs onto her before she could fall in.
He had a smile on his face as he carried her away.
...
"Mmmm." Wei Xiaohui groans as she begins to wake up.
"Where am I?"The only thing she remembers was staying on the bridge. She looks around and notices that she was in a bed, completely different from her home. It was much more modern and posh than hers.
Wei Xiaohui got out of bed, and she realized something odd, "Where are my clothes?!" She wasn't wearing her clothes. Instead, she was wearing an oversized shirt.
Wei Xiaohui blushes as she knew that it was a guy's shirt.
"Whose shirt is this?" Before her thoughts could go crazy, the door opens.
"Oh good, you are awake." The man sighs in relief. But that made Wei Xiaohui more confused as she didn't know who this person was. She backs up, wary of the man.
Seeing her wary look, the man laughs, "My name is Liu Zemin, and I was the person on the bridge."
When Wei Xiaohui heard that, she remembered what happened before. Her guard slightly lowers when she hears that. Liu Zemin touches her forehead,
"Thank goodness, your fever has gone down. You were really burning up before." Liu Zemin explains seeing the blush forming on Wei Xiaohui's cheeks.
He then gives her the porridge, "Here, eat something for now and get some rest."
"Thank you." Wei Xiaohui was embarrassed that she was being taken care of so preciously.
Liu Zemin just smiles, "Don't mention it. I'll come back in a few minutes." He didn't say more as he left the room.
With Liu Zemin saying he was the man before, Wei Xiaohui remembered what happened.
'Should I go through with it?' Thinking about it now, Wei Xiaohui didn't know whether or not she should go through with dealing with Zhou Liqin or not.
Despite saying it before, right now, she was having doubts.
Wei Xiaohui shakes her head as she knows her head isn't clear right now. She starts eating the porridge to try to let her mind relax. She opens the TV as well.
However, when she saw who it was, her face turned ugly! On the TV, somebody was getting interviewed.
"Ms. Shao, I heard that you are the famous beauty model known as Wei?"
Shao Nuying was embarrassed, "Yes, I am the famous model Wei. It's something that I've been keeping a secret for a while now.
"Why have you revealed it now?"
Shao Nuying smiles, "The reason why I revealed it now was because I want to help my company flourish even more."
Hearing what Shao Nuying said, Wei Xiaohui couldn't help but shout, "That Bitch!" She couldn't believe she would use her own career to help boost her own!
