Competitive Nature
"Shit! It's self-destructing!" Colonel Jones smashed the ground and used the Trixion soldier's body next to him to shield himself from the explosion. He fell back as far as he could, leaving only minimal damage, with only his hand and leg scorched.
The dust from the explosion slowly settled down. Colonel Jones couldn't see ahead completely yet, but he used Qi Senses as he treaded into the aftermath of the explosion, despite it not being the ideal thing to do. He was worried about Augustus, which prompted him to take the risk.
"He should be able to survive, right?" Colonel Jones walked closer and heard the faint sound of people fighting, which gave him a sense of relief, assuming that Augustus was alive since no one else could be fighting.
As he got closer, the fight was halted midway, indicating that the fight was concluded. The base was in a mess, making it slightly hard for Colonel Jones to navigate through the wreckage.
