I Transmigrated Into a Messed Up Body

Jake Dane died in an accident. When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a hospital. “It's good you're doing fine, Cadet Jadel Wayner." The doctor called him by a different name. Upon knowing where he was and who he was, he was shocked. ‘I got transmigrated to a novel that I dropped and to this guy’s body. He was transmigrated to the body of a character named Jadel Wayner that the protogonist and main characters absolutely despise—a supposedly dead character. But what shocked him more was that his body is a mess and he is basically a normal human. 'Fuck, how am I going to survive in this world with this body? I don't even know half of the story. SHIT!’ In his former world, Jake Dane was a coward. But now that he has transmigrated into a new body and a new world—a world ruled by power—will he still stay as a coward? __________________________________ Note: If you like my work please support me with power stones, that will be a great motivation for me This is my first work, and sorry guys if there are any grammar mistakes. Chapter 33 Foreign Feeling

After sleeping for 5 hours, I woke up in the evening. Taking a shower, I took some spare clothes I stored in my watch's spatial system and wore them. As I walked out of the hotel, I was greeted by a female staff member.

"Good evening, cadet, may you need my service?" I looked at her and hummed in a low voice. "The instructors from the Royal Academy asked to help the cadets since some of them are new to this city."

I looked at her and thought for a moment, "Where are others? I can't find other cadets here." As I entered the hotel, I couldn't find a single cadet here; even at this time, I couldn't see anyone.

"The instructors told the students to not roam around the hallway unless it's necessary, and only a few students are staying at this hotel." She explained.

By this time, most of the students must be in their respective cities to stay with their families, and after this incident, most of the students don't want to stay alone.

'Even I don't want to stay alone' Staying alone would make me think about all that happened in the incident and what disasters will come in the future. For now, going out to clear my mind is the best choice and to make a careful plan for the future.

"Can you tell me where the mall is in this city?" I asked.

"Mall? You can see when you go outside, that's the biggest building in this city."

"Oh, okay, thank you."

"No problem; it's our duty to help."

Nodding my head, I walked out of the hotel and started walking to the skyscraper. It was a tall building. When I entered the city, I instantly saw this building. Curious about the height, I asked the guy who I saw on the road and found out that it was a 489 meter tall building called Magiverse.

As I walked through the bustling city, the road was full of gloomy people moving here and there. It seemed like some of the people from Royal City came here to seek refuge since they must have lost their house.

After three minutes of walking, I arrived in front of the Magiverse mall. Stopping in front of the building, I looked at the mall in amazement. It was my first time seeing this type of building, a tall building with intricate designs that exactly looked like a pixel-type building, just straight up coming from a pixel cartoon.

'Well, let's focus on what I come for' When I entered, I was greeted by a male employee.

"Good evening, sir. How can I help you?" he asked with a business smile.

"Can you tell me where the store is that sells martial arts techniques?"

"Oh, yes, follow me." Nodding my head, I followed, and soon we reached our destination. He gestured for me to enter the store.

"Thanks for the help."

"Okay" keeping the business smile, he left. Upon entering, I was greeted by another employee.

"Good evening, sir. What type of techniques do you want to purchase?"

"I just need a technique that contains the basics of all types of weapons."

"Oh, sure, can you please follow me?"

"Okay" I followed the employee. Soon I entered a room filled with books that shone a little, indicating the book was filled with mana.

After searching for a few minutes, she picked up three books and came to my direction with an apologetic smile. "Sorry, sir, there were only three of them that contained basic techniques for different kinds of weapons, and all of them are three stars."

"Nha, it's fine. Can I check?"

"Oh, sure," she gave me the books. I can only open the first page to read the description, as other pages are locked with magic.

'Master of Weapons, it's the same as weapon master name' I read the important words marked with a line. 'Contains basic knowledge of a weapon master's weapon wielding style. Contains knowledge of 100 different types of weapons. 'I will just buy this'

"I will buy this." I showed the book. She looked at me and the other two books for a moment and asked.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes"

"Ok" she walked to the counter and checked the price. "That will be 503,970."

"Damn" I unconsciously muttered.

"Is there any problem?"

"No, I will buy it"

'Sigh—I'm beggar now'

I can't use any fancy or powerful techniques because of my body condition, so what I need now are normal techniques that can help me defeat and kill my enemies or monsters, and its crucial for the skill I'm going to develop next. Not only that, because of my body's weakness, I can't confront them directly, so I need to learn long range, mid range, and shot range attack techniques. To learn that, I need to know the basics of different weapons and various combat styles, so I can change my ways of fighting according to the enemies or monsters I face.

'For now, I will increase my strength to enter that dungeon, 'World of Lost Souls'.' As the name suggests, it's a world for lost souls and souls who have lingering attachments to their lives and families. A dungeon for them to enjoy their lives to the fullest. Entering that dungeon means disrupting their joyful lives, so when I entered, it's like my fate was sealed.

'But I need to enter it; I need that skill at all costs' 'My Pets', a perfect support type skill that worked similar to necromancy with a flaw. That's why I didn't equip the empty skill slot I created by engraving a rune in my hand.

After buying the technique, I started walking to the hotel where I'm staying. By the time I left the mall, it was nighttime, and the number of people on the road increased as they were coming from finishing their jobs today.

THUMP! THUMP!

Suddenly, my heart started thumping as an unknown feeling was evoked in me. As I walked in the bustling city, the thumping of my heart only increased, as if my heart was… anticipating something.

Feeling a gaze on me, I looked up—to be precise—to a certain building. I couldn't discern who it was, but I could tell it was a woman.

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

Seeing the figure of the woman, my heart started to beat frantically, as it would burst out of my chest.

"Huh, she's gone." She vanished after a second as I looked at her. From her spot, a glowing butterfly came flying in my direction.

Normally I would be alarmed to see a butterfly, an extinct insect, coming in my direction, but seeing the butterfly approach me, I lifted my hand and pointed my Intex finger so it could rest in my hand.

The butterfly approached my finger and sat. After closely observing it, I found out it was not a normal butterfly; it looked like a mix of a bee and a butterfly.

"It's got beautiful wings and eyes." As I uttered these words, I felt like the butterfly was looking straight into my eyes.

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

My heart quickened as I felt allured by its eyes. No, it didn't feel alluring, but I couldn't understand what I'm feeling right now; the feeling was foreign to me, so I misunderstood it as if I was allured by it.

Puchi!

"Ow!"

Bling!

After stinging me with its stinger, with a sound, the butterfly burst into light particles, leaving me stupefied. My frantically beating heart slowly calmed down, and I felt like my mind was clearing.

"What was that?" I inspected my body with mana to find any abnormalities, but I couldn't find any; I didn't even sense any malicious intent from the butterfly.

From a building, a woman observed the walking figure of a white haired boy with a slight smile.

"So, you can feel me, huh?" Her alluring rhythmic sound weakly resonated in that place.

"…I hope I could see you face to face…" There was a slight sadness in her tone, but instantly she smiled. "See you soon…" With those words, her figure vanished, leaving golden particles to glimmer around.
