Lin Yun was surprised when Yanhui approached her.

It was almost five in the afternoon and everyone was about to leave.

Lin Yun was about to leave the building but by the time she reached downstairs all her co-workers left. she called Feng Yi.

" Team leader we thought you already left oh I'll arrange a taxi for you now "

" Feng Yi it's ok I'll manage to get home safe"

Lin Yun replied. She didn't want to bother them with silly issues.

The sky darkened as the clouds gathered to rain. Lin Yun's face was too darkened as she saw the sky. She didn't bring her umbrella.

She stood there while she slightly fidgeted with her legs.

"Ms Lin "

She was startled when she heard the voice calling her.

It was Yanhui. Lin Yun was quite surprised as it was already five and the CEO hasn't left.

"Oh CEO Gu"

The sky poured its tears while the clouds rumbled with lightning.

A cold wind rushed to envelop the individuals who stood there observing each other. Yanhui's Coiffed Jet Black hair swayed while the wind brushed against it. 'it must be soft' Lin Yun thought but soon brushed it away.

" Miss Lin, you haven't left ?"

Lin Yun nodded in reply and said

"My colleague thought I left so they went away, I'm waiting for a taxi"

" if you don't mind I'll drop you off"

This cheeky CEO likes surprising the little

lamb . ' why is she helping me? OH no, don't tell me she remembered ' Lin Yun thought.

"Miss Lin don't be scared I'm not a person like you think. it's raining cats and dogs and you won't reach your home if you wait here. where do you live"

" Oh, my apartment is just before that street. Then it won't be a problem."

Yanhui nodded helplessly as she couldn't refuse the CEO.

Soon the car arrived at the front of the building. Once again Lin Yun was stunned.

A majestic Aston Martin stopped in front of them as the driver got out of the car. Yanhui gestured towards the passenger seat.

Anhui opened the passenger door as she held her blazer over Lin Yun's head. Lin Yun blushed at this gesture. Her blush didn't go unnoticed by the CEO. Yanhui smiled as she closed the door and ran towards the driver's seat.

Even though it was only a few seconds outside, Yanhui's clothes were all wet.

Lin Yun fidgeted with her hands as she got in.

Yanhui settled in the seat and started to wipe her face with a kerchief as she was drenched.

Her hair was wet, and the blazer she used to cover Lin Yun was also wet.

Now all she was wearing was her white shirt which she wore beneath her blazer and her pants.

with her now wet hair, she looked like a Greek god. The water droplets hung close to her chin while she dried her hair. it didn't dry completely but it was enough.

Lin Yun was observing all of this while her heart was beating out of her chest. She swallowed hard when she saw the slightly open button of the shirt Yanhui wore.

A slight view of her toned chest made her blush like a tomato. The scent of the alpha beside her wasn't anything silly it was intoxicating. It pulls you closer the more you try to resist.

the scent which was slightly a mix of forest and sandalwood will pull you closer like a black hole while you get trapped in the trance forever. Suddenly Yanhui glanced at her face and shot a brilliant gummy smile.

'shit' she lost it. The Young CEO's smile wasn't anything fake. It was so real that Lin Yun's heart skipped a beat. Her cheeks were beet red. She continued fidgeting as the car started. The drive was peaceful no one talked. Both of them felt comfortable with each other's presence. Though she was nervous Lin Yun liked the presence of the alpha beside her. They both felt like a puzzle was placed together making it complete. They didn't utter a word throughout the ride.

Yanhui switched on some music for Lin Yun to make her relax.

Lin Yun was now slowly dozing off as she was exhausted from all the activities she had done today.

Yanhui stared at the sleeping passenger Princess. " my goldilocks, you're finally here. I won't let you go anymore" she mumbled.

Lin Yun who was now completely asleep had a satisfactory smile plastered over her face.

'fuck. she looks so cute while sleeping' yan hui thought as she couldn't control her excitement.

Lin Yun woke up with a groggy expression.

She forgot where she was for a second. The car was at rest when she woke up. The driver's seat was empty. Lin Yun's eyes searched for the alpha who was by her side.

That was when she noticed a person standing outside the car staring at the distant lake.

She softly called the person " CEO Gu".

Yanhui heard the pleasant voice from the car and went towards it and leaned towards the window

" you are awake. we've reached your place."

" how long was I asleep for "

" about 10 minutes "

Lin Yun's eyes widened as she apologized while trying to unfasten her seat belt.

"Miss Yun no worries, now relax I'll help you "

Anhui opened the car door and leaned towards the girl with panic plastered over her face. As their faces were inches apart Yanhui slowly grabbed the belt and was about to press the button. Lin Yun held back her breath while her amber eyes stared at the blue ocean eyes in front. Yanhui let her breath out which she held back. The scent of the forests hit her nose as Lin Yun inhaled the intoxicating fragrance. Yanhui licked her lip as she felt the girl on the seat trembling with her touch. Suddenly a clicking sound was heard and Yanhui moved away. the seat belt was unfastened and Lin Yun jumped out of the seat like a squirrel and bowed. She thanked Yanhui as she held her head down.

She couldn't look at her in the face. Her porcelain face was now painted with the prettiest shade of pink. She was blushing. She walked back to her home and said goodbye before parting.

The tension between the two wasn't.

they were like two magnets placed at a significantly close distance waiting to link with each other.

Yanhui was now at her home. Just as she was about to return to her apartment, she got a call from her mother. She said it was urgent and wanted her back home as soon as possible. Yanhui asked about what the matter was but her mother didn't reply. Soon yan hui drove back home. Her home where her parents stayed was quite far from the place she was staying currently. As she reached her home she hurried towards the family room where she saw all her family members sitting.

She knew it was something serious.

"Hui Hui you have to marry Jing Wen, she's your omega"
