Chapter 86

Everyone got dismissed when the meeting ended. Kaiden decided to pull Amias to the side and dragged him off somewhere. He sets up an array to keep things confidential before asking.

"Why are you dragging me out all of the sudden?" Amias asks and Kaiden breathes in.

"Is El the guy you were trying to warn about before?"

Amias pursed his lips. Would he be allowed to speak about it?

"He is" Even Amias was surprised that El allowed him to speak of it.

'What exactly are you planning El?'

"How did you find out?!" Kaiden got greatly concerned.

Never mind Matthew looking for him in the past. Why was El hanging around Gideon? What was Gideon's connection to that guy? Things were already going smoothly between the two of them so why did Gideon get involved in this situation?

"El left traces on Gideon. I tried asking Gideon about it but either he doesn't remember or cannot say. That's how El does things around here"
