What's next

Today was a long night or day for everyone. Wolf grunted as he slowly regained consciousness. His eyes flickered underneath his eyelids before they snapped open, jolting as he realized he had fallen asleep on their way to their destination.

Fortunately, when he woke up, he wasn't tied or held captive in an unknown place, as expected. He was still in the backseat while Victor and Tracy were in the front.

"Good morning, Wolf," Tracy greeted without looking back at him. "I'm a little concerned about your health. You snore very loudly."

Wolf furrowed his brows. The last thing he could remember was they were entering a ferry with their car. "Where are we?"

"Almost there," answered Victor. "Look."

Wolf slowly set his eyes on the window, seeing some small houses on the side of the road. It was almost dawn. He squinted his eyes until he recognized the familiarity of the road. It had been many years since he stepped foot in this place.
