To Prosper Beautifully

None of us dared to speak, nor even break the silence that has been surfacing around us for a while now. We just stood there with both feet in the ground and with our quiet breaths and peaceful mind. 

I didn't exactly know what to think for the moment. I refused to think about the mistakes I am supposed to be reflecting on, or think about the future that I am walking towards to, or even about the things that might be wandering around Lucas' mind.

But perhaps, as I looked at him, I could tell that there are a lot that has been going on his mind—he just wouldn't say it. All I knew that confusion and hesitation was painted on his eyes. I know; for I always believed that the eyes will never lie.

I heaved a deep sigh, for I could no longer hold back my longing to find out what was bothering him. "If you want to tell me something, please do so," I cried.
