Alexander_pov: her expression seems very funny, I couldn't help but smile silently since I arrived, girls in this school thought I was a snub, but I just needed time to battle with my memories because conflicts between my parents started right from my childhood. I knew Bella right from the moment I stepped foot into this school, and she's also my ex-seatmate, not until she realized her seat was number 17 which makes 24 vacant and the last seat in this class, I ignored her all through making me get the nickname dhg!!.

I kind of don't know this poker girl's name, think I should ask her!!!

"Please what's your name" I asked pouting out and making her freeze in shock.

Holly_pov: did he just ask my name!!! my eyes widened as his sweet angelic voice echoed all through the class, and his eyes stared right into my eyeballs, omg I didn't see that coming

"hun..my..my name.. I 'mHollyy "I said strutting also feeling nervous and shy at the same time like my heart was gonna explode.

"I'm Xander," he said

" nice meeting you," he said again stretching his hand

I couldn't let his hand hang in the air so I stretched my hand to him and we shook hands

"nice meeting you too," I said tucking my hair to the back and feeling frustrated for not having someone to give me a tour around the school, being unaware of my subconscious fidgetiness

"Is everything okay? You seem a bit frustrated and fidgety. Is there something on your mind that you'd like to talk about?" he asked concerned rather than disturbed.

having the greatest opportunity I decided to pour my heart out to him

"I need someone to show me around the school" I pouted bluntly

"Okay fine I will, "he said.

Alexender_pov:I wondered how asking her name led me to show her around. she's just irresistible

"Okay fine I will, "I said rolling my eyes while she started smiling like she won an award

she noticed I was watching then she showed off her poker face again making her look more awesome, I wondered how she did that often.

"shall we"I said while standing to pick up my phone. " Sure," she said while she led the way, walking majestically like she knew where she was going I just chuckled and caught up with her.

not long we started heading towards the cafeteria after visiting the school event hall, she couldn't help but exclaim at everything she See's.

"Are you Born here in California" she

asked breaking the silence between us

"nope am new here"I replied

"same here" she replied while entering the cafeteria

"what should I get for you" I ask after picking a spot

"never mind I still have some cash with me"

she said checking her jacket's left pocket

"I remember asking what to get for you and not if you have money," I said rolling my eyes drastically

"Okay I'll prefer snacks, ice cream, and chocolate" she finally replied

"poker girl "I pouted out while leaving to get the snacks she requested

"two bowls of ice cream and four chocolate" I ordered

"Great choice!" the retailer man Said

"Here it is," he said while I collected what I purchased after paying and heading back to the poker girl.

I stretched one ice cream to her and two chocolate

"Thanks," she said while she collected it.

after having our snacks,

we went to the football field after hearing a loud goal twice, it's a 1:1 from both teams Bella scored for the ladies while Jace scored for the guys. I was enjoying the football match because I love football and am a pretty good player I just don't want attention here. I noticed Holly wasn't feeling comfortable with the match it's obvious she doesn't like football

" Should we go somewhere else? "I asked her

"Yeah," she replied like she was waiting for me to ask.

and since I don't know anywhere anymore I'll just ask Alpha since It helped me with the previous ones too when I just got here.

"anywhere to go from here alpha, " I ask using my wristwatch"Yeah just to pick from the options", it said

"school loves gardens" I replied while Alpha forwarded the map to me and we started heading towards the garden.

we got to the school garden thanks to Alpha "This place looks nice" she exclaimed again

"and beautiful" I added

"Have you been here before?" she asked sitting on the balanced bench

"no, I got help from my AI," I said shrugging

"did you build that," she asked

"Nahh it's...."I got interrupted by her call

"It's my mum, "she said while she answered her call

📞"Hi mum," she said

📞"Yeah I know"

📞"holy crap but not again I just resumed, "she said again sobbing already, I just stare at her sternly.

Holly_ pov: Mum said the bad guys after Dad's lives have tracked us down here again.

,📞"we got here three days ago don't tell me we are leaving again, "I said feeling a range of anger in me

📞"am sorry Holly we have to be on our way and am trying to give a fake location here but it not going through, their tracking skill is upgraded so we ain't taking anything we are heading straight to the airport after we've got you," she said panicking than being scared

📞"mum am not going anywhere with you if am gonna die today I don't care I want to see those guys am really tired Mum", I said boiling inside, if the anger in me could penetrate outside am sure it would cause an emulsion

📞"am sorry Holly please try to understand and I can't let you get yourself killed I have to hang up now to keep trying it's the least I could do", she said and hung up
