Chapter 8: Almost Kidnapped

After we got home I quickly go straight to my room to see it. I stop in front of my door and slowly open it. The first color I see is light violet and white.

My bed is color white while the curtains around it is violet. It's beautiful. The curtains are light pink with violet drawings on it. The carpet is color white and it's so soft. The cabinets and furnitures are in dark brown wood. I have a sofa in a design of a cloud! This room is much better than I thought.

"M'lady where should I put these?" Sella ask me while holding some of the things we bought.

"You can just arrange it in my wardrobe and my previous clothes that Lily pick, just give it to her or donate it. You can also just put it on fire." I said. I don't really like those clothes, those are too much for a kid.

I search for mom and dad so I can thank them for my room. I go in the dining room to see that they are not in there. I am walking in this big mansion for awhile and I think I am kind of lost.

Yeah I am really lost. Good thing that there is a maid that approach me.

"M'lady are you lost?" She ask me.

"Yeah. Can you help me find mom and dad?" I said to her.

"Follow me m'lady." She said, I follow her.

While we are walking I guess we just got more into a secluded place. I stop walking. There is something wrong.

"Are you sure that you know the way?" I ask her gently.

"Yes. Just follow me." She said calmly.

When Sella tour me around although I don't remember every part and route of the mansion, I still know some of it. And I don't remember her touring me in this place.

When she said that I quickly turn in my back and run as fast as I can. I can hear her following me and she is fast. Damn this short legs of mine!

I still don't know where I am and there is no person in here. I turn into a different corner until I see a door. I open it and hide in there. This room is a dressing room for maids. Now, I just realize that I made a big mistake! If she finds me here I have no way to run out. Oh no. Sella, please hurry and find me.

I hear the doorknob clicking. Someone is opening the door. I hope it's not her. Then a maid that I don't know open the door. I sigh in relief and get out from my hiding place.

"M'lady what are you doing here?" She ask shock.

"Well I am playing hide n seek." I said as an excuse. I can't trust every maid in this mansion.

I go out and see that the maid who wants to kidnap me is not in here. I take my chance and run again until I am now in a place where there is some servants.

"M'lady I have been finding you for awhile. Did you get lost?" Sella said running to me while panting heavily.

"I...got...lost." I said. I feel bad for not trusting you enough Sella, sorry but I just have to survive.

"Are you sure my lady?" She ask me again.

"Yeah." I giggle sheepishly. Well I really got lost so I am not lying.

"Where did you go my lady?"

"Oh I am just searching for Mom and Dad when there is this maid who wants to-" I quickly stop talking. If I talk, I might blurt out some things I hide. I am not yet profesional in lying but by the time maybe I'll be better.

"Yes m'lady?"

"I am just walking around and got lost. I want to find Mom and Dad." I said.

I follow Sella and got into the living room. Wow, we have living room and I didn't know. I saw Mom and Dad sitting in a sofa being lovely dovey. I internally cringe at them.

"Mom, Dad." I said.

"Oh sweetie." Mom said pushing Dad to the side and sitting properly.

"Thank you for my new room." I said sitting in one of the sofa with fur in it. It's soft.

"That's nothing sweetie. Anything you want." Dad said.

"Mom, Dad I want to visit Rose and Ryan. Can I?"I ask them.

"Sure, just let Sella accompany you."

"Ok. Thanks." I thank them.
