Chapter 59: Somewhere Far Away From Humans
Rain starts to sprinkle lightly despite the sun shining brightly. Water drops slide down the glass window of a girl with wolf ears and tail. Her eyes are tightly shut and her brows are furrowed. From time to time her tail will sway from right to left gently, indicating that she's awake.
Out of thin air, a furry pink ball appears. It blinks its big dough eyes.
"Master," it called out gently.
"What?" Luciana answered still trying to sleep.
"Your father said that it's better if you stay in the palace," Pink Fluff said. 'It'll be better for our investigation about those forces too.' He added. 'You'll be able to hear everything in the palace while just staying in bed.'
'What about Lily?'
'I'll take care of her, besides we have ears and eyes here too.'
'No. I won't go, I'll stay here.'
