The Battle that shattered the Island!

The two of them opened their mouths wide, exclaimed in shock, and then fell silent for a moment. They exchanged glances, their faces filled with astonishment, as they gazed at the figure in mid-air speechless.

David manipulated gravity to pull Karathen up from the depths of the ocean.

'As a deep-sea monster, being out of the water should weaken it to some extent.'

Furthermore, he wanted to demonstrate his power clearly. The two of them would clearly know that as long as he wished, not only could he obtain the Trident of Poseidon, but he could also destroy Atlantis without difficulty!

If they didn't want anything to happen to Atlantis, they should better obey him.

Karathen's massive form was thrown onto the island.

In an instant, the sky roared, and the earth shook. The two of them struggled to stand as they hastily retreated. 

Because the entire island was hardly any larger than the body of this deep-sea behemoth, it seemed like a gaping maw. They were so dangerously close to it that they could even smell the foul stench emanating from Karathen's mouth.

Roar!

Karathen looked angrily at David, and let out a deafening roar that shattered the clouds in the sky, and even the glowing geostones in the sky trembled. It swung its thousand-meter-long tentacles, creating a shockwave, and aimed them at David.

It was going to beat this tiny insect that dared to pull in out from its nest into a pulp!

Whoosh!

The octopus-like tentacles stirred up a violent gust of wind, shaking the area for miles. Pterosaurs in the sky were blown away like fragile butterflies in the strong wind.

Bang!

David extended his arm horizontally, his body resembling the immovable Mount Olympus(Mount Tai 🗿), and he effortlessly blocked the tentacle that carried the overwhelming force. Upon contact with the ground, a circular shockwave exploded and spread.

The stark contrast between the huge tentacle and the tiny human figure created a breathtaking and impactful scene.

Mera had retreated into the water with her red hair disheveled. She quickly raised her hands to control the water currents, creating a water curtain to shield herself and the queen from the shockwave. However, they were still unable to even fully block the aftermath of the clash between the human and the monster.

The water curtain shattered, mist filled the air, and Mera's chest churned. Fortunately, Atlanna reacted quickly and grabbed her just in time to prevent her from being blown away.

"Thank you, Your Majesty," Mera said, her face pale and her body felt uncomfortable. She didn't have the same robust physique as the Atlantis royal family.

"Stay behind me," Atlanna said, unable to hide her astonishment as she shielded Mera.

Sizzle!

Using the power of energy absorption and gravity manipulation, David easily deflected Karathen's attack. His eyes emitted a purple energy beam with terrifying heat, which pierced through the air and cut through the tentacle.

A large gush of dark blue blood spurted from the tentacle's wound like a fountain.

As if electrocuted, Karathen's tentacles recoiled, spraying blood.

In the blink of an eye, David had cut more than ten meters deep into Karathen's thick tentacles. However, compared to its several kilometers-long body, it was like a small cut one might make while slicing vegetables - essentially no damage at all.

'It's more difficult than cutting titanium alloy.'

Karathen's body was even stronger than he had imagined. The fine energy beam attacks barely scratched its body. David's body suddenly broke the sound barrier, and he shot out from the sky like a projectile.

Bang!

A deafening roar, the atmosphere trembled, and a shockwave resounded.

From a distance, Karathen's head was lifted by David, who appeared as tiny as a speck of dust in comparison. It was as If he was hit on the head by a mountain, giving him a hard punch.

Reeling from the blow, it went into a frenzy, swinging its tentacles and robust limbs, resembling mountain ranges, in an attempt to hit David.

From the massive eyes of the deep-sea behemoth, David saw anger and humiliation.

However, its enormous size inevitably brought with it a lack of speed.

David easily dodged between the atmospheric disturbances caused by Karathen's attacks. His eyes emitted beams, manipulating cosmic energy to form powerful energy cannons aimed at Karathen's eyes.

The searing pain forced Karathen to shut its eyes.

As it closed its eyes, it became a sitting duck. David controlled gravity and struck it with his own power, which was no less than Karathen's mountainous size, and his speed far surpassed it.

Bang! Bang! Bang! 

Deafening thuds echoed relentlessly within the small world.

The deep-sea monster standing on the island was beaten to a pulp, completely defenseless.

It opened its eyes to lock onto David and attack.

David could have continued to fire energy blasts from his eyes, causing the behemoth's eyes to never open again. However, he didn't need to bother anymore after figuring out Karathen's strength.

Even with its eyes open, Karathen couldn't keep up with David's speed. It remained a living target, and David effortlessly avoided its formidable attacks while continuously pummeling it.

Karathen, possessing intelligence not inferior to humans, was furious and frustrated, but utterly helpless. Its ferocious attacks couldn't touch that annoying pest at all.

It wanted to turn and retreat into the deep sea to avoid being further beaten.

However, just as it turned, the familiar force ensnared it and pulled it back.

Its massive forelimbs carved deep grooves into the island, but it was futile. 

Karathen was humiliated and dragged back, once again subjected to a brutal onslaught. The sheer force threatened to shatter the entire island into pieces.

In the depths of the ocean, the two onlookers, carried by the turbulent waves, watched in disbelief. David had actually completely overwhelmed the deep-sea monster that had brought endless terror to the people of Atlantis.

And it was almost like an adult bullying a child!

Atlanna was deeply shaken.

She had tried many times to obtain the Trident of Poseidon and return it to Atlantis. Faced with Karathen on numerous occasions, she knew all too well how powerful this creature, which had lived for countless ages, truly was.

It was like a lion toying with an ant, knocking her from the water behind the waterfall back onto the ground.

If it weren't for her royal bloodline of Atlantis, she might have perished countless times already.

Atlanna had a vague idea that perhaps only her eldest son, Arthur, with his innate ability to communicate with marine life, could gain an opportunity to approach the Trident through some form of communication with Karathen.

'No one else in the world who can touch the Trident except Arthur.'

That had been her previous belief.

'Even Poseidon, the god of the sea.'

The power of this behemoth was enough to scare the gods away. (T/N: She for real on some acid trip after being alone for decades)

But now, as Atlanna watched the scene unfolding before her eyes, her thoughts had to be changed.

Karathen's impenetrable armor-like carapace was shattered, its knife-like teeth scattered, and its dark blue blood had tainted the entire sea, deepening its color.

The thunderous roars gradually grew weaker.

The one-sided bullying battle was finally coming to an end.

"The final blow!"

With his body soaring through the skies, David gathered his strength and delivered a devastating punch. The unimaginable burst of kinetic energy combined with the gravity that moved mountains and seas, the Karathen's enormous and heavy body was sent flying.

A shockwave swept for dozens of miles, and the only island atop the dark sea finally couldn't withstand the violent vibrations, shattering and sinking with a thunderous crash.

Karathen, now the size of the island, floated on the dark sea like a battered doll from a washing machine, barely alive. Its injuries were so severe that it couldn't even move a single tentacle.

"It's... over."

The earth-shattering battle had drawn to a close, leaving Mera pale, and she muttered absentmindedly as she stared at David, who stood victorious in mid-air.
