He glimpsed at Nine and saw the other silently sending a message through his unwavering gaze.

How can Ten not know?

He also realized that Ruby seemed different than what they imagined regarding that woman's family member.

The twins thought that the family would be full of wicked people as they were able to create such a hateful woman.

It seems like they were wrong.

Nine patted Ten's clenched fist to comfort him, allowing Ten's cloudy eyes to clear up a bit.

It was unknown what was on Nine's mind, but he didn't show much rejection to Ruby.

The bright sunlight was beginning to flow into the ward, peeking from the gap of curtains. The cold wind inside the room slowly melted away, gently changing to a warm breeze.

There was no more awkward situation. The three sat while each have their own minds.

After a period of time, Ruby who was going to talk were rudely interrupted by Nine.

"The deal."

"We will hear it."

Deep down, Ruby was elated. For at least, the twins were willing to know the content of the deal.

Ruby gave a light laugh. "It's not much. I will adopt you and your only task is to grow up brilliantly."

Ridiculous.

Ten almost laugh along with Ruby. "You're joking."

"It's true."

"You're lying."

"I'm not."

"You are."

"I'm serious."

Ten and Nine expressions were incredulous. Ten impatiently glowered, "Then you must be insane!!"

Different from what they expected, Ruby sadly wept, "That's right!!"

"If not, why would I dare to take you in?"

"What kind of devil whispered that I heard until I have this f******* crazy idea?!"

In truth, if Ruby wasn't concerned about her life where mishaps could happen anytime (she was referring to the time where she got dragged to save the twins) and didn't want to have any connections with the plot, she would have long ago gone back to the hotel.
