Instigation

The car eventually reached its destination. From a distance the mansion was still dark and only night lights were lit but if observed closely several men in black were patrolling around the side mansion like phantoms. Behind the mansion, gigantic bluish grey silhouette of mountains could be seen.

Seeing the familiar car pulling up, all of them lined up and gave way for it. Aghan stopped the car right in front of the mansion.

'Master' a low chorus sounded.

He got out and walked to Ayla's door. The guards seemed to want to say something but stopped when they saw his action and quietly lowered their heads. In just a second they withdraw into darkness like they never existed.

The women were highly respected and none of the outsider men can casually see them or be around them. Not even the servants. Aghan didn't even look at them and pulled open the door.

" Come out. I'll take you to your room" he said lightly as not to scare her.

But Ayla has completely returned to normal by now. Unfazed and even more indifferent. She looked up at him and sneered.

" I have legs and I can walk by myself. There is no need to disturb the master."

His is eyes darkened when she said the word 'master'. Though a dark temptation. He blinked the ideas away and tried to say in normal voice.

" There are many rooms in here, you can easily get lost. Come out now." he put his hands behind his back.

She rolled her eyes and got out of the car lightly and scanned her surrounding curiously .Several maids can be seen in the distance but no trace of the black guards.

"We aren't related, are we? WhY can those guards aren't even allowed to look at me, but an outsider male can freely come to my room. " she said disdainfully.

An outsider. Ha Very good. This instigation really worked. The aura emitting from him suddenly became a little terrifying. He bellowed without turning his head.

"Furad !!" he called a maid with a taut face.

"Yes master" an old maid with a haggard face and drooping back ran to him from the back and saluted.

"Take young miss to her room. And from now on you are in charge of her meals and other necessities. " he said while looking her side profile.

Ayla had a nonchalant expression, turning her face and still trying to catch a glimpse of the shadow guards.

" It's her home and nobody is allowed to neglect or disrespect her."

"Yes master"

Ayla looked bored and as the conversation finished, she started to walk towards the main door. Furad saluted to aghan and ran inside to guide the way.

He stood there watching her. Slowly a small smile crept on his face, almost non existent. She was still so good at acting and can affect his emotions . If he hadn't known her, he might have really believed her acting.

As she left, Aghan stayed there. A moment later a black shadow came out of nowhere.

"Master. I have something to report." he said still lowering his head.

In Aghan's study. Five shadow guards stood in a line attired in black. The leader stepped out with his hands joined as respect and said:

" Peripheral tribes have shown stirring. Our spy's zarwan indicated that they might be planning another attack. Heavy loads of gunpowder and rifles have been imported."

Zarwan was the group of nomads that have travelled from other areas and settled in the vicinity of Tashware. Except small loots and food stealing they have never shown any signs of battle. There must be a rival tribes holding the string behind the scenes.

Aghan was silent. It was not a big problem. It was merely several hundreds people. They don't pose a threat to a big tribe like tashware. He signed the leader to continue. The leader of the shadow guards hesitated.

" We investigated further and found that the loader of rifles and trucks were Malawars. "

There was a dead silence. Malawars were Ayla's natal clan. Second in strength among tribes.

After 'that' incident 15 years ago, both Kalarweri and Malawars had a tactic understanding and they never crossed each other paths.

"Chief, I think the might know that the young madam is back."

Aghan knew this day would come sooner or later and he has been prepared for it. But he discovered another problem tonight.

Aghan gestured the other guards to go out and only the leader Mobei remained.

"I need you to make another private investigation in LA."
