Chapter 49: We Bonded
“You named her Krishna?” Krishna asked me.
“Yes, I named her Krishnaa. I named her after you. Do you like it?”
“Yes, I love it. Can I meet her?”
“I do not know if you are ready to meet her, yet.”
“Why?”
“What am I supposed to introduce you to her? My boyfriend or my friend? Who are you to me?”
“I am her father.”
“A father who was absent in her life for 5 years.”
“I told you my reasons.”
“But still you are a complete stranger to her. I need to find the right time.”
“What about tomorrow? It will be perfect for us to meet.”

“Perfect, I am so glad to see my daughter.”

We stayed quiet for five minutes. It was very awkward with him. I got out of the car and we went our separate ways.
The next day, I was waiting for him to meet our daughter Krishnaa. I texted him the address so he should be able to find the place. My aunt was not at home. He came an hour late.
