"Sorry... You're not the kind of partner I'm looking for. I got tired of you anyway, so let's break up..." a beauty left the coffee shop in a hurry after saying what she wanted to say. Her response made everyone stare at the unlucky guy she just left.

(Aii... With that pitiful expression and average face, no wonder he got dumped...)

(What a plain guy... Even I am better looking than him.)

(How pity... Should I date him instead? I might get that diamond ring in his hand if I approached him right now...)

He was bombarded by questions from all the people seated around him. Carrying the sour smile on his expression while tidying the table with unfinished coffee, he gently placed it on the cleaning area before leaving.

The pressure was gone when he stepped out of the coffee shop.

But the fact he just got rejected and dumped by a girl he claimed was his girlfriend of two years was the truth. With nothing to look forward to tonight, he lazily dragged his feet and returned to his place.

Opening the door into the room, it was a mess.

It's like he knew that was to be expected after getting dumped by that bitch of a girlfriend. What was left inside this small couple studio was some of her cheaper clothing, soon to finish or expired makeups, and toiletries.

As for those things with over 500 dollars price tag, they were all packed and taken away.

'Looks like taking over an hour to get home was the correct choice. At least, I won't need to see who was helping her to move and what else she's going to say before leaving.' he sighed. Once again, he lazily moves and tidies the mess left by that ex-girlfriend.

There's actually some fun after this breakup.

He could clean the things that no longer belongs to him and threw them out. But sadness came along after he noticed that his belonging was just too little. Including what he had on him, there are less than ten shirts of different occasions, ten pants, and less than three pairs of shoes.

'Let's get a shower and sleep. I still have to work tomorrow after breaking up.'

"Xiao Yang! Tell me, what did you contribute to this company?" he was called to the manager's office early first thing in the morning. Nothing seems to be good from the manager's expression.

"Manager, can I know what did I do wrong this time?" he asked. He just separated from his girlfriend yesterday, and the work for today had just started. By right, there shouldn't be a problem with his work at all.

"Look at the report in this folder. Everything was a mess. The account for this Summer Beauty Limited was all wrong, even the spelling and format. Are you looking to get fired?" the manager asked.

"Manager, Summer Beauty Limited is not my project." this guy with the surname Yang replied to the manager. He's willing to eat whatever people throw at him but not faults and mistakes.

"Who said that? If I stated you're the one responsible for Summer beauty Limited's project, then you are. Get it done by tonight and put it on my table before you leave. Else, expect to be fired from the company." the manager forcefully put that responsibility on his head and kicked him out of the office.

Yang smiled sourly. He was given two choices.

1) Finish this report by tonight and placed it on the manager's table before going home, or...

2) Reject him, but still get forced to finish the report before going home, and no longer needed to come back to work tomorrow.

Even a fool knows which option he should go for. Grabbing the folder from the table and leaving the office quietly, Yang returned to his seat and created a new report from scratch. Since all the document files were saved in the company's server, he just needs to copy the file and edit them accordingly.

An average-looking coworker soon entered the manager's office not long after that. But unlike Yang, she came out with a smile on her face.

"Xiao Yang... If you need some help on the Summer Beauty Limited's report, just let me know, ok?" she sounded supportive as she offered to help.

"It's alright. I'll get it done before leaving," Yang replied with a smile and continue to do his work. If they're not in the office right now, he'll give her a slap before taking the keyboard and smashed it on her head.

'What a joke... To think that the one that created this shit was the one asking if I need help. Why not you come and blow me while I'm cleaning your mess?'

'Wait... Better not... Who knows what kind of infectious disease you have from sleeping around. I'm sure you didn't wash after coming out from that A**hole's office.' Yang was firing sentences full of profanities before focusing on his work again.

By the time he finished with the report, everyone had left the office. He was the last one there. Everywhere was pitch black except for the light from his monitor and also from the corridor.

After leaving the report on the manager's table, Yang left the office.

As it was already late at night, the power to the lift was cut off. He can only use the stairs to return to the lower floor.

But he was greeted by the sound of a man and a woman having intercourse the moment he walked past the fire safety door. It was a surprise because there are actually people more "hardworking" than he was.

"Babe... Promise that you'll include my name in the list of VP's secretaries, alright?" the female said as she was pleasured by her partner of the night.

"Argh... Of - Of course... It will happen as long you make it easier for me. with my support here in this office, you'll be successful for sure." the male replied to her. He sounded confident in both his power inside the office and his sexual performance.

"Ah... Why - Why is that, babe?" the woman seems to know where is this guy's ego was and kept holding it to make him happier.

"Because if our president was a mountain, then I am the golden thigh. He's the power behind the scene that you and I can rely on, and I am the dependence you have to hug to not get blown away." the guy continues to speak while keeping up with his performance.

"Remember, in this world, having a stable background is the key to success. And also choosing the correct thigh to hug! Without any of this, you'll be destined to fail!"

"A pair of animals in heat," Yang get downstairs while shaking his head.
