Volume 1: Chapter 8

The next day , Daisy went to meet her father to ask him about the engagement with the crown prince.

The baron was sitting in the couch. Daisy greeted her father and sat next to him.

" Papa why didn't you inform me about my engagement? I don't wanna marry the crown prince. Cancel this engagement immediately." she said with a distressing tone.

" Daisy it wasn't my decision. I know how you feel. But I am unable to do anything in this matter. It is the order of the royal family, I am only able to follow it. Please try to understand my situation,my dear".

"But Papa....!!" Daisy said with a sad and worried voice.

Her father felt sorry for her but he was unable to do anything. The only thing he can do is to comfort her.

She returned to her room thinking what to do. "Although , my first plan of changing my father was a success, but my plan to stop the engagement was a big failure. This time my father did not do anything. But how did they choose a baron's daughter to be crown prince's fiance? Something is not right !! "

Finally Daisy decided to change her plan , "Either I should call off this engagement or I should just stay silent and just move away when Ray falls in love with Diana Rose."

She decided to try the first and if it failed she thought of follow the second choice.

Her brother Rio was in the mansion, since he came for celebrating his birthday. Daisy decided to ask her brother about the engagement. She went to Rio's room in search of him, but he was not there. He usually like to spend his time in the garden reading books. So, Daisy decided to go and look for him in the garden. As expected, he was sitting under a tree in the garden and was reading his favourite book. Daisy went and sat next to him.

" Brother, can I ask you something?".

Rio kept the book down and replied, " What does my little sister want to ask me? " by patting her head.

Daisy asked " Brother!!! Why am I chosen to marry the Prince? ".

Rio smiled and replied ina teasing manner" Because my sister is soo cute".

"Brother , don't joke! Just say me."

"Daisy! It's the order of the royal family. You were chosen as our father is the most loyal person and the most trusted person of the royal family. Plus, they will not have problems when making any decisions in state affairs since our father is only a baron." Rio explained her she needed to know these things . He further said " But I am not happy with this".

Daisy knew the reason but she asked "Why??"
