Uchi: The Dragon Priestess

I walked around the Plaza of Auroria with Zain and Zofia for a while. The others wandered off somewhere. Zofia was eating a funnel cake and I looked at her and smiled then wiped her mouth. I heard an "Awe" to the left of me and brushed my hair behind my ear then looked up.

"Is she your daughter?" A woman asked, holding a girl's hand.

"Mhm." I smiled and stood up. "Is she yours as well?"

I pointed and the girl shyly went behind the woman and looked at me from behind her. The woman smiled and looked at the girl and nodded.

"Mhm. Her name is Paulla. My name is Uchi. Uchi Levarza." She looked at me and held out her hand.

"My name is Stella. Stella Bushi. This is my daughter, Zofia and my husband, Zain." I smiled and shook Uchi's hand.

"Azami speaks a lot about you. She always hopes to get a chance to battle you someday and be trained by you. She wishes to be the same as the Undefeatable Queen." Uchi giggled.

"Your daughter is one bundle of energy. The truth is, after I saved my country, I want to avoid any unnecessary battles. The sword I used in the war is in a pedestal deep in Lunia Forest..the power of that sword is why I was so strong." I said.

"Not true, my love. You are strong without any form of weapon. You magic alone is enough to wipe out an entire army in one instance." Zain said.

"Oh? One Instance? Aria has this One Strike technique that can do the same thing! It's called...Phoenix Mist..or something like that?" Uchi smiled.

Zofia walked towards Paulla and looked at her with curiosity. Paulla whimpered a bit and stepped back. Zofia tilted her head and looked at her plate and held it to Paulla. Paulla looked and saw Zofia barely ate half of the funnel cake. She hesitated and walked towards Zofia. She took a piece and ate it and blushed. Zofia smiled.

"Interesting. So how is Genten anyway?" I looked around.

"It's a much beautiful place now. Before it was just a war zone. Every kingdom was in war for this...Legend that was proven to be true. The 19th Kingdom of Genten and a Dragon Continent that's directly connected to Genten in the Old Genten Days. We are at peace with the dragons now.." Uchi pointed up.

Zain and I looked up and saw three dragons flying in the air. Uchi smiled and watched the dragons. Uchi pointed at each one.

"The lavender dragon is named Chryliss. She has the most gentlest heart of all the dragons. The white one is named Fridat. He is the Dragon of Life in Genten. The blue one is named Buvnialth. Believe it or not, but that dragon is said to be a Templar's Partner when he was younger. When that Templar was taken he was forced to flee to the Dragon Continent..and now he is bonded to Genten, but has hopes of meeting his old friend once again. He is named the Eternal Dragon." Uchi smiled.

"You know a lot about the dragons huh?" I looked at Uchi. "I've never seen one in my life."

"Oh? Well now you've seen three! Also, I know a lot about the dragons because I am part dragon! I'm a hybrid." Uchi giggled.

"Hybrid, you don't see too many of them around the world." Zain said.

"They are all hiding. One day the world will accept them..Just like Aria accepted me!" Uchi said showing her ring.

I smiled and looked at the sky again and the dragons were still flying around. For some reason, Uchi's presence puts me at ease...she's just a kind-hearted woman who loves everything in life. I don't know a thing of her past or what she went through during the war in Genten, but I'm happy she's happy and doing well. I looked at Zofia who was happily trying to communicate with Paulla. Paulla was still shy, but did her best to communicate with Zofia.

"Paulla was found by Aria in Lem..She was around so many dead bodies. Her parents were killed by him..she still thinks about it from time to time." Uchi said. "What about your daughter?"

"She was found in a graveyard near a kingdom in my home named Maanga. She practically grew up with dead bodies around her, she considers them to be her 'fwends'." I said.

"Wait she was abandoned when she was born?" Uchi asked.

"Mhm. From her knowledge she had no family until she met us." I said. "Her English is broken because she didn't have a formal education. That's why I am teaching her to the best of my abilities at the same time she's teaching herself."

Zofia looked up at me and smiled happily. I crouched down and wiped her mouth again and smiled. Zain watched and chuckled.

"You have a good relationship with her..I want it to stay like that until the end of time." Uchi smiled.

"The same goes for you." I stood up.

"Mmm." Uchi smiled and nodded. "I'll be heading off now. I hope to see you again in the near future."

Uchi waved and looked at Paulla and Paulla took her hand and waved goodbye to Zofia. They walked off and I looked at them and smiled.

"The energy radiating from her body is extremely calming." Zain said.

"I know...that's the energy of a true mother...Gentle but can be destructive when needed." I said.

"Like you." Zain said and smiled.

"Hmph! I'm not gentle, I just have a soft side.." I blushed a bit.

"Mhm.." Zain squished my cheek and chuckled.

I blushed and looked at him. He gave me a warm smile and I smiled back. Zofia stood up and noticed they had eaten that entire funnel cake.

"More pwease!" Zofia held up her plate and smiled. I looked at Zofia and giggled.

"Alright." I took the plate and held her hand then walked back to the bakery. Zain followed and chuckled.

Meanwhile with Saya and the others...

"Saya...why in the absolute F*CK, are we in the forest..?" Ashe asked.

"There's a beautiful spring here from the data of Auroria!" Saya smiled.

"Where's the source..?" Miyuna asked.

"Just trust me bro!" Saya giggled.

"I don't like it here, I think I'm gonna turn around and--" Tia froze hearing a fast rustle. She looked around frantically trying to find the rustling. Her legs were shaking hard in fear. A woman appeared in front of Saya and held her sword to Saya's neck.

"What are you doing on my territory..?" The woman asked.

"Alright, everyone scream as loud as possible and Stella will hear us..." Kotome said.

"Screaming won't do you any good if your voice doesn't work!" The woman snarled.

"Avani...stand down." Another woman said standing on a tree branch.

The woman had long white hair and baby blue eyes. She wore a red kimono and carried a katana on her side. The girls saw her and looked shocked.

"A-Aria.." Saya said.

"But--"

"There will be no bloodshed, Avani." Aria said. "They mean no harm and I know what they are here for. They just want to see the spring. Lower your weapon."

"As you wish Lady Aria.." Avani lowered her weapon.

Avani had green hair with fire red eyes. She had a scar on her right eye and wore beast armor. She carried around two Greatswords.

"I hope you girls are okay." Aria smiled and jumped down and landed on her feet.

"W-We're fine.." Saya said, looking like she saw a ghost.

"Good, follow me then!" Aria marched towards the spring and smiled.
