Six hours of darkness (2)

Running down a hallway were Brian, Amanda, Elizabeth, Annabelle, and Connor.

As they ran, Brian felt the presence of darkness looming over the school. He noticed this evil presence and reflected:

'Damn, we took too long!'

But suddenly, they all felt that the evil presence was gone, they sensed that something was wrong, and they ran hurriedly.

They turned a corner and stopped in the hallway where room '666' was.

As they entered the hallway, they noticed Thomas lying on the floor and a man standing there looking at him.

Everyone present was looking at the man's back and Annabelle who saw thomas lying on the floor and the man standing there, she realized that he was the enemy and quickly said:

"Stay away from him!"

But when she said that, Elizabeth quickly put her hand over her mouth, preventing her from continuing to babble.

Annabelle looked confused at Elizabeth, but she spoke warningly:

"Watch your words."

"What?"

Annabelle was confused, she didn't understand Elizabeth's fear, so she thought:

'Why is she cautious? The being that lives inside Thomas is already gone, so why is she like this?'

Suddenly, the five in place, noticed that the man was turning around and when they looked at the man's face, all they felt was fear. They noticed the man's appearance, but what caught their attention was a moon tattoo on his forehead and his completely black eyes.

Brian froze in place and reflected:

'What do I do? I know he won't kill me, but who's to say about the others.'

Suddenly, Charles began to speak as he stretched his back:

"Damn, that body... I think my back is locked."

Everyone looked shocked at charles, they would never have imagined that he would say something like that.

After stretching, Charles looked at the group and spoke:

"You're already here in..."

They froze in place, wondering if they had done something wrong.

Charles observed their silence and spoke:

"Are you people mute?"

Quickly, Elizabeth replied:

"We were worried about Thomas, that's why we came here, it's not our intention, to get in your way."

"Okay, then get the boy."

Charles stretched trying to get used to his new body and prepared to leave.

But suddenly they heard a door open, and outside it was a girl in her workout clothes, she stepped out while fiddling with her cell phone.

The girl looked at the scene in front of her and saw lying on the ground, a boy in his academy uniform, while there were blood stains on his clothes, then she looked at a mysterious man who seemed not to belong to the academy and finished by looking at a group of students in the distance.

She concluded that something was wrong and decided to take the best action her brain created.

She pointed her cell phone camera at Thomas lying on the floor and then started filming.

Brian quickly tried to warn her that this was a mistake, but it was too late.

The atmosphere in the air changed and suddenly the girl was being killed, her head was being cut in half.

She fell to the floor and a 'thud' noise was heard. Her blood stained the door and the wall behind her, everyone looked in terror at that brutal scene and remembered who the being in front of them was.

Charles calmly walked over to the girl and grabbed his cell phone, as he looked at the screen of the girl's cell phone, he noticed that she was filming with back of the camera and consequently was recording the dead girl's body on the floor. What caught his attention on the recording was a phrase that read "Live".

He looked closely at his cell phone and noticed that there were 80,000 people watching live, he was surprised that there were so many people but quickly crushed the cell phone with his hand like it was nothing.

He turned to the group and spoke while looking at Brian:

"I think you better not have forgotten the deal we made ourselves..."

Brian was startled, but quickly recovered from his shock and said:

"I haven't forgotten."

"Good, then I'll be going now, goodbye."

Charles said smiling and suddenly disappeared like the wind.

Those present felt that his presence was gone and quickly fell to the ground and started breathing heavily.

Annabelle quickly got up and ran to Thomas lying on the floor.

After reaching Thomas, she quickly checked his pulse and noticed that he was alive, his condition was unconscious, but he was fine.

She calmed down and sat down next to Thomas, put his head on her legs and spoke:

"Sorry..."

Suddenly Charles appeared in a city that seemed from the future, he was a little shocked by this sight and reflected:

'So this is what it means to be in another world ...'

He looked at the crowd of people passing around him and noticed that he had already completely suppressed his presence, so that he could quietly enjoy his 6 hours.

He took a good look at the crowd of people crossing the street, then looked at some stores and establishments and reflected:

'What do I do now?'

He was thoughtful for a while and finally found his answer and said aloud:

"That's it! I'm going to try the best food in this town!"

Several people would look at the bearded man talking loudly like a child, but they would ignore him, since it was normal to have crazy old men these days.

Charles smiled and decided to enjoy his 6 hours of fun.

(The next chapters, will not be very friendly, some deaths might happen hehe)
