Lucifer attacked Darkness and the Creator with a burst of life energy mixed with his own divine energy. Charles knew faithfully that this was temporary, so he had to find a way to stop the berserker mode and kill Asura before it was too late.
Asura was immortal in his berserker mode, so there was nothing that could make him die while he was in that mode. But fortunately, Charles had an idea at the last minute.
Suddenly, Charles released all the chains that bound Asura and reflected, "The berserker mode is nothing more than a defense system against death. Author's note:
Asura's defense system: Asura, when he is close to death, his body instinctively starts releasing adrenaline along with his energy uncontrollably. The mixture of these two things causes his body to heal itself even though it is not injured and gains strength, speed, agility, senses, etc.
Because he has so much energy, his body cannot release it as if it were releasing air. So his body is forced to spend this energy that is being released uncontrollably. Otherwise, he would die because his body would overload by consuming all the energy and explode.
