(Tess POV)

I jumped back with my left arm feeling rather weak due to the many cuts that were littered upon my flesh. Blood trickled down my arm and to the tips of my fingers.

Mio jumped at me and suddenly an earth bullet hit my back which made me tip forwards and towards Mio's extended arm that held one of her daggers.

I stepped forward with one leg and held it steady on the ground then I spun the other round and kicked Mio's side but she grabbed my leg and thrust her dagger forward and held it near my neck.

"END!" Callum shouted, signalling my fight had came to an end.

The medics that had healed Jayden and Xander rushed up to me and hastily began to heal my wounds.

They supported me as I was assisted to the benches.

"Next fight is Kiera vs Iris!" Callum shouted and I saw them both go up to the centre of the arena but along the way Kiera placed a hand on my shoulder and said to me,

"You did well." Before walking off.

'Did she just praise me?! Ugh.. this hurts but did Kiera just say that?! Ah my vision..'

(Kiera POV)

I walked to the centre of the arena with Iris and prepared myself with Adonis in a relaxed position by my side and my muscles tense ready to move whenever necessary.

Iris took out her own sword and held it in front of herself and stared at me with a smile.

"Let's have a good match." Iris said with a smile.

I responded with a simple nod.

"Ready?" We both nodded to Callum's question, "BEGIN!"

Iris started with magic. She formed ice bullets and started firing them at me one after the other with no delay. I swung Adonis with some quick and accurate movements and with each movement a wind blade cut through the ice bullets.

Dust clouds formed from the impacts between our magic and i leaped right into it.

I appeared from the cloud of dust at the other end and went straight at Iris with my sword ready.

I had left [Lightning enhancer] and [Wind enhancer] active the whole time I was waiting for my turn as I hadn't deactivated them so I just needed to activate [Fire blade] and [Inferno] which I did with haste and slashed down at Iris.

She promptly blocked my sword and ice began to form on her sword. It covered her blade and tried to get onto mine so I increased the heat my flames produced causing the ice to stop inching its way to my blade but melt instead.

Iris didn't expect my flames to be able to produce such heat, but they did. I pushed on my sword harder and moved Iris's away and I quickly moved it back to strike her. I slashed upwards and across her chest but Iris formed a sort of armour from her ice and dulled the strike produced from my sword.

'Armour.' I thought to myself. I could definitely create the same armour and even improve it by a ton but I wasn't going to reveal my other elements just yet..

Iris brought her sword back around and swung down at my right shoulder so I rotated my body to allow the sword to smoothly cut down past me.

I rotated my body once again but quicker and I kicked Iris's abdomen, well tried too as she blocked it with her sword. She then pushed her sword forwards and moved me back before swinging her sword horizontally at my thigh.

I jumped out of the way and she shot a bullet of ice at me in an attempt to hit an opening which she thought I left open by accident but I did it on purpose.

I shot a flame at her ice and melted it making steam rise and I manipulated it into surrounding me before dispersing. Once I completed that I was gone.

Well not really. I just used [Flash steps] and appeared behind her and jabbed the back of her calf with my sword causing her to stumble forwards and quickly turn around.

She jumped away from me and sealed off her cut with ice creating loads of ice spikes from underneath my feet and thin needles of ice that shot through the air that targeted my vitals.

'She does realise if these hit that they would cause a great deal of damage to my body.. right? Doesn't matter.' I thought as I assumed she knew I would be able to avoid all of her attacks.

I quickly weaved my way around her ice spike and gracefully avoided her needles.

She jumped at me while I was mid dodging and guided her sword to my head while creating three other swords of ice to do the same but from all directions.

I created a wind barrier that surrounded the entirety of my body and that successfully stopped all of her swords other that the one she was physically holding as I had already moved Adonis in the way to meet it.

I wanted to end this fight soon as it was getting pretty dull and I just wanted to fight the strongest person here.

I used [Flash steps] and got behind her but my back was facing her back. I swung my arm round with Adonis in it and stopped before it hit her neck.

"End, I assume?" I said.

"Haha, yeah that's the end. Thanks for the fight." Iris replied as she sheathed her sword and destroyed all the magic she had created.

"END!" Callum called out and the crowd cheered.

"We will be taking a short break for all the participants before we determine who comes in fourth and third place with Tess vs Iris! Before the final battle of Kiera vs Mio for first place!" Callum shouted as the crowd cheered once more.

I walked over to the benches and sat down. I looked next to me and saw that Tess was asleep but it was probably due to the sudden loss of blood and a lot of it at that.

'Tess didn't do too bad.' I thought to myself.
