Evolution
There is no way I can take on that when I'm in this condition. Just moving makes my body feel like it's getting diced into pieces.
Ogres. Ogres are like the overpowered version of a goblin and are normally green like the goblins but this one is red meaning it's a higher level. I might be able to take it down if it was a lower level but this is too much.
"Hey Willoa are you sure you cannot help even in this situation?" I asked looking at her dead in the eyes.
"I cannot. My orders were 'find Kiera and Violet and make sure they aren't injured then return to the mountain with them. Quickly as possible.' Not to attack monsters that are heading for us." Willoa said as if it didn't matter.
"Great. Can you get yourself and Violet out of my way then, if there is no other option I'm going to have to fight it then aren't I?"
Violet was crying into Willoa and Willoa was just too stunned to speak she was probably thinking there was no way that I could fight it and it's just suicide so she just sighed and got out the way.
I grabbed my bow and ran towards the ogre drawing and arrow back on my bow before releasing it towards the ogres eyes. The ogre saw the arrow coming but failed to swat it out of the air in time causing it to hit his eye drawing blood and worsening his vision.
I then started to recall some details I learned from my lessons when I was younger about monsters.
'Ogres struggle to protect the back of their neck and their weakest part of the body is the back of their knee and inner thighs. Since I hit his right eye it'll have a struggle protecting that side of its body so if I go from it's left side and slice it's neck with [Scratch] I might be able to cut it a bit.' I thought instantly putting my plan into action.
I ran to its left side trying my best to ignore my screaming muscles and jumped on a tree scaling it and pushing of its top branches towards the ogres blind side. I activated [Scratch] and sliced down on its neck causing it to roar at me and bring its hand toward we're it was cut to try and hit me away. It failed that miserably as I was already on the ground running between its legs using [Scratch] on its inner left thigh and [Thrust] on the back of its knee. The ogre stumbled forward and slammed its fist down on the ground just barely missing me causing me to fly backward and hitting a tree.
Blood came gushing out of my mouth and my wings looked like they just got pulled through a bush backwards. I jumped back to my feet dodging the ogres oncoming blow to where i was flung to and I wiped the blood dripping down my face.
'My body feels like absolute crap.'
The ogre was still standing and was bleeding from its neck, knee, eye and inner thigh. All weak spots that if I can hit again will make the ogre weaker slowly. I decided to try hit its neck and back of its knee with arrows so I quickly took out two arrows as I ran behind the ogre. I fired off an arrow to its knee making it drop down with a loud crash sending birds flying away from their nests followed by an agonising roar. My other arrow wedged itself into the ogres neck.
'Perfect. I might be able to win.' I thought as I activated [Scratch] again jumping up and hitting its neck again making a deeper cut where I was almost at the bone.
The ogre in rage swung its hand round in an attempt to hit me but yet again failing. The ogre tried to get back up but failed causing it to lean forward more almost falling over completely.
I followed up the ogres fatal mistake and struck its knee again with another [Scratch] and completely cut its knee off causing it to fall over onto its left side. I jumped back into action activating [Scratch] to wound his right arm and I successfully did just that. A wave of pain yet again came offer me making me drop to a knee.

I got back up struggling with the pain but my face still showing no emotion and I lunged at the ogre which couldn't get back up and I stuck it one final time to the neck completely severing it's head from the rest of its body.

'That'll help' I thought as I stumble over to Willoa and Violet.
"Wow I never thought I would experience a miracle. I guess this is how you survived alone on this mountain." Willoa said stunned at the fact I just beat a Ogre and a high level one at that.
"It wasn't as hard as I though it has low intelligence which I forgot and it's mainly just a powerful being." I said before falling to the ground.
"Can you walk?" Willoa said.
"Does it look like that to yo- *cough*" more blood came spewing out of my mouth from my internal injuries.
"I'm too tired can you carry us home now." I said to Willoa who looked a little panicked.
"Ah um yes." She said picking me up.

"You are correct your body was damaged so severely you fell unconscious." I heard the reincarnation goddesses voice from behind me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her.
"I'm the one who forced the evolution to occur since your unconscious." She said with all smiles.
"Sure. System can you give me details on the evolution options?"

"I'd recommend the Elemental dragon. You can control all elements and your body will be a lot tougher than before. Your comprehension of all elements will be on the level of a genius. Skill dragon is well its a dragon made of bones and is weak overall, a terrible choice." The goddess said guiding me to the right choice.
"I thought as much. Anyway why did you help me?" I questioned the goddess.
"You'll find out sooner than later." She chuckled.
"My time here is up. See you next time my darling~"
"Yeah, yeah bye I guess."
The goddess looked a little shocked before smiling as she didn't expect me to say bye to her but who cares?

My consciousness returned to me as I felt my whole body ache and I rubbed my eyes as I sat up.
I opened my eyes to find Violet asleep with her head on my lap and mother staring at me with tears in her eyes.
"Your finally awake!" She said giving me a big hug.
"Yeah." I said accepting her hugs.
"Your whole body started glowing a rainbow colour and your body started to repair and you grew taller! I'm assuming you went through an evolution?" Mother said as I checked out my body.
"Yeah Elemental dragon." I said shrugging.
"Haha that's the same as my first evolution but yours came when you were two. *Sigh*
Oh well. How are you feeling?"
"I feel alright actually just a little ache."
