Chapter 7

Uughhhhh

There's nothing to do I asked mother if she needs my help

But she rejected and asked me to just rest

I appreciate her concern but I got nothing to do in this house!

I lied in bed looking up and thinking to myself of what to do

But someone suddenly knocked on the door

~Knock Knock~

"Who is it?"

I asked

Then someone popped there head in and it's Claude!

"Hello Athy, how are you doing?"

"Nothing just chilling why are you here?"

I asked

"That's because I got nothing to do"

He nervously said

I noticed he keeps limping and holding his arm

I furrowed my brows and asked him again

"Claude what happened?"

He looked at me wondering how I'd known

But then he decided to tell that it's his mother she punished him again

I got furious and asked him to sit on the bed while I go get something to treat his bruise

Once I returned I nagged and told him stuff about how I will protect him once I have gained power and looking at him smiling I feel satisfied

I'm glad he trusts me

While Athy is treating Claude's arm what she did not know is what Claude's been thinking

Claude looked at Athy sweetly but what he thinks is quite scary

He kept smiling but Athy never realized what's going on in his head...

Since Athy and Claude had nothing else to do both of them went out and played

We went to that quiet place full of trees, near yet far from our houses we frequent

This place is where we discussed our future and plans

But something feels off

Someone's here

I quickly took Claude and hid under the bushes and peeked whoever it is out there

But once I raised my head they were gone

In confusion I stood up and looked around I was sure that someone is here or am I just imagining it

I called Claude and told him to sit here under the tree but someone suddenly grabbed my wrist

~Swoosh~

I got surprised I almost fell but they managed to catch me

"Who are you, and why are you here?"

He talked in a tone where he seemed suspicious with low yet high tone?

I looked up and saw a boy

With blonde hair and grayish sleepy eyes

"Oh oh! It's the male lead"

I shouted enthusiastically

Both Claude and him looked at me with confusion but I brushed it off because all I care is the boy who I will befriend

"Hey it is nice to finally meet you!"

I shouted

He looked at me with confusion

then asked

"Who are you?"

He said it with a cold tone

Oooh I felt shivers

"I- my name is Athanasia Zen les Acrez"

I looked at Claude to signal him to introduce his self too

He looked at me and him dissatisfied

"Hello my name is Claude Ceyon de Leon"

Yes good job Claude you did it perfectly he did it while he's injured!

I thought happily but I am not happy about the fact he's injured of course

But after he introduced himself he went near us and pulled me from the grasp of the boy and asked

"You, who are you?"

I looked at him in disbelief he talked without honorifics

Claude what are you doing we need to befriend him he can save us in the future

But Claude failed to notice my desperate stare and glared at him

The male lead doesn't seem to mind and still answered

"Cythe Sebastian von Salvator"

He answered in a dissatisfied and glaring tone

But Claude doesn't seem to care and glared back

This kids what are they even doing

I pinched Claude's cheeks and whispered

"Hey Claude you shouldn't be rude to the person you just met you got that?"

He's the one who is going to protect us so don't be rude!

Claude doesn't seem satisfied but still agreed he stopped glaring and started smiling sweetly(?)

Yes good boy Claude!

As I patted his head

Tomorrow came and we visited Cythe to befriend him and visited him again and again

He seemed annoyed but I don't care because he's our ticket to not die in this world!

So we visited again until he doesn't care anymore

The three of us became close, I think

I hope this quiet and relaxing days never end
