I froze but not as shock as I thought

Maybe because i've already figured out but I just won't accept this reality

Both of them looked at each other looking sad then Rosalinda answered

"You'll be 8 in 2 weeks my daughter" She smiled sweetly

"No I don't remember" I replied

The both of them started crying saddened that I have forgotten

I said that with an eager tone then mother went near me and hugged me again

But this time softly like she's holding a delicate, fragile doll

"But Athy, it's very painful all of it from the past so I wish for you to not know what had happened"

She said while trembling

It may be painful memories for Athanasia but not me

"Mom, I want to know please tell me"

She looked at me debating wether to tell me or not but she decided to tell me

"Oh dear, you really want to know?"

I nodded very eagerly

She then sighed and told me

"Athanasia my daughter you were a very cheerful and energetic little girl"

Energetic? Athanasia?

"But then because of the carriage where you and your father were in crashed, I don't know how or what happened..."

She then started crying it must be very painful for her as well I was not thinking

But I am here right now to know what Athanasia the villainess has gone through

"Your father Andrew Amor les Acrez died protecting you, you were only 5 at that time if I was there if I had followed my gut and stopped both of you... This would not have happened"

I'm curious I want to look around but as I step foot outside of my room it is very dusty it's like it's not have been cleaned in days or years even

I went down the stairs and was surprised by how quiet the manor is

There's no maids no butler no workers?

The only one I saw working here is Miyalina

"All of them have found another job"

I look back to see who it is but it's mother

They found a new job?

She looked at me then smiled sweetly yet sadly

"After your father's death our cloth shop has also died there is no one to take care of it... And because of that your father's siblings, cousins have all gathered and cooperated to start causing some trouble, now here we are bankrupt with a lot of debt"

We're bankrupt and in debt

It makes me furious! How dare they bully Athanasia, Rosalinda, and Miyalina!

I may not be Athanasia but I shall take vengeance!

I raised my hand shouting and thinking to myself

Mother chuckled

She looked at me and smiled again

"I'm so glad to have my happy and cheerful little Athy back"
