Chapter 22
Today is the day that me and my friends go to town!
I dressed as simple as possible to avoid people's attention
and so did they
I quickly looked at each of the stalls and drooled over the food
I acted like a child but I don't care!
I finally get to go to town again!
I tried forgetting about Cosmo since he didn't come back yet
So i'll enjoy myself first!
"Oh oh! look BBQ!"
I shouted
I then ran there as fast as I could
"What would you like young miss"
The vendor asked
"I would like 5 of those please"
I pointed at the BBQ as I drooled
I haven't had BBQ for so long!!!
This is so exciting!
As I was about to hand over my money to the vendor
"We didn't come here to shop Athy..."
Someone grabbed my wrist
I turned to look at who it was
It was Cythe!
But for some reason his face seems more relaxed than last
I guess hanging out with Josefina made a difference...
I shook my head to stop thinking about it
"You're not going to avoid me now?"
I looked away and said while pouting in anger
He was shocked at my sudden question
that he made a face
"What are you even talking about Athy?"
He flipped his hair and frustrated by my sudden change of attitude
"So you're just going to act like you haven't ignored me for many days?!"
i looked back and crossed my arms demanding for an explanation
I get it that this time his love for Josefina is starting to bloom
But ignoring me because of that is so annoying
I furrowed my brows even harder and still crossed my arms
He looked at me in disbelief and said
"Athy that was a few weeks ago"
He said calmly

He didn't even think about what I would feel
I turned to looked the other direction and walked away leaving Cythe behind
I don't know what he's feeling right now but I don't care!
I'll be salty with him for today then i'll quickly change my mood later
This will be his punishment!
He's lucky that i'm still considerate
"Josefina!"
I shouted calling her name.
She quickly turned her head to look at me when she was still looking at accessories
"Would you like one Ina?"
I asked her
She shook her head and said
"No thank you, I don't really need those for anything"
She answered back
"Why not? what about your debut?"
I asked again
She shook her head again
"Accessories is just another way of showing what you have, and I have no interest in that"
She answered while looking at the accessories
"What if the accessory is something that was given to you by someone?"
I asked her again
"Then i'll have no choice but to wear it since someone made an effort and bought it for me"
She answered politely
"Really?!"
I shouted in excitement
She jumped back by my sudden shout
"Y-yes?"
She asked flustered
Ina's so cute!!
Her face is getting red
"Hehe would you like a gift from me?"
I asked her grinning
"Eh? but-"
She stuttered
"Thank you for buying!"
The lady vendor said happily
As I handed her the money to pay for the 4 bracelets
"W-wait I haven't even agreed to it yet!"
She yelled Shyly
Hehe Ina is very cute

I nodded satisfied
"Why did you buy that?"
I jumped by the sudden voice I heard
I quickly turned around and saw Cythe looking at me
"Why you got a problem?!"
I asked him
"No I don't"
Cythe answered firmly
But as I looked into his eyes I can see he was looking at the remaining 3 bracelet's on my hand
"Would you like some?"
I asked him as I handed him the black bracelet
"No"
He answered then quickly looked away
"Hey you better take my kindness, I was suppose to be angry at you until later but I guess I am too kind and I can't ignore you any longer!"
I shouted annoyed as I pulled his hands near me and tied the bracelet around his wrist
Cythe never moved an inch and waited patiently for me to finish
"There I tied it now, what do you think? pretty right? I have a good eye for this sort of things!"
I nodded proudly
I was confused to why he wasn't answering me
So I looked at him to see him looking at his the bracelet that I put on him
his ears flushed red as I stared at him Closely
I noticed myself smiling softly seeing as how happy he is to accept my gift made me so happy
"Athy?"
Someone suddenly grabbed my shoulders
I turned to look who it was and there I saw Claude
He was smiling at me and said
"Josefina is calling for us haven't you heard?"
Claude asked us
Oh?!
She was?!
I didn't hear it
"Sorry about that Claude I was busy tying the bracelet on Cythe's wrist"
While I explained and scratched my head
As he stood there silently smiling looking both at me and Cythe

I shook my head to calm myself
"Oh right Claude!"
Claude came back to his senses and looked back at me
I quickly took the red bracelet
"This is for you"
As I showed Claude the bracelet
Claude showed a small smile and handed his wrist and said
"Could you tie it for me Athy?"
He asked gently while he looked to my back to where Cythe is
I ignored it and tied the bracelet around Claude's wrist
Claude showed a big smile while showing the bracelet
I smiled back as a response
"Everyone let's go!"
Josefina shouted calling for us
I then looked back at Josefina who called for us then waved
"We're coming!"
I shouted back
"Cythe, Claude let's go"
I called for their attention
The both of them nodded then started walking towards where Josefina was
As we walked around town
I noticed we were getting nearer and nearer the dark alley
I went near Cythe and asked
"Where are we going?"
I whispered to Cythe
"You'll know once we get there"
He answered back
I nodded and continued walking to where Josefina is taking us

minuets later we stopped at a secluded house
*Knock *knock*
Josefina knocked
*Creeeeeaaaakkkk*
The door then opened slowly
"Let's go"
Josefina said while she signalled us to come in
We then followed and entered
it was pitch black when all of a sudden
"Boo!"
"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaa!!"
I shouted at the top of my lungs i then grabbed someone beside me I don't know who it was since it was so dark
i looked at who it was
it was an old lady with a lamp
"Hehehehehe scared you so bad little missy, you should stop being so jumpy"
She said while she starts to walk away
"Everyone would be scared if you scared them like that!"
I shouted angrily
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
The old lady burst out laughing
"Old lady please stop scaring my friends"
Josefina said
Hooo!
I thought my heart was about to come out!
As I touched my chest and rubbed it slowly
"Uhm Athy"
I felt someones arm linked to mine
I looked to my left and to see it was Cythe beside me
I looked at my hand that the one that was holding Cythe's arm
I quickly pulled it away and acted like nothing had happened
"S-sorry about that"
I said flustered
"...It's okay"
Cythe answered
He looks disappointed?
Why would he?
I tried looking at Cythe's face but it was too dark to see
But then someone suddenly grabbed my hand
"Kyaaaaaaa!"
I shouted again
"Athy are you okay!?"
Both Cythe and Josefina came running and asked
"It's me Athy don't worry"
Claude responded
"You should have told me it was you sooner!"
I shouted angrily
"Sorry it was because I was scared, so i quickly grabbed your hand without thinking"
He explained
He's scared huh?
Poor thing
I grabbed back Claude's hands and said
"Don't worry Claude i'll protect you"
I gave him a thumbs up I don't know if he saw but I still did it anyways
I turned to look at the other's was worrying because of my scream
"Don't worry guys i'm okay, i just got scared a bit!"
I answered trying to lower their guard
I hear them sighing because of relief
I'm glad they feel relaxed now
"What's with the commotion there!"
The Old lady yelled
"It was nothing!"
Josefina yelled
"Why is it so dark anyway?"
Josefina added
"It ruins the vibe if there was light"
The old lady answered
The old lady then prepared her desk and she placed her lamp on the lamp holder
She sat down and it became silent
"So what are you doing here?"
The old lady asked
"We're here to ask about the safety of our friend"
Cythe answered
"Is that so?"
The old lady answered
"Who is this friend of yours?"
The old lady added
Cythe then turned to look at me and pointed
"Here she is"
He said as he points at me
