Traitors

The people from afar can't believed for what they saw, the king was obliterated from its very existence.

Now Cosmic lost a lot of blood because the sword was pulled out, the blood continued to flow to the ground.

"HUFF!" He's having hard time breathing.

"I'm sorry, if my body wasn't deeply damaged then I can still protect and take you in a faraway pl—" he said in a quiet voice and a droopy red eyes.

Biting the bottom of her lips and responded "You fool, who's protecting who, all of you doesn't need to protect me, I'm a ruler of a great world"

He's feet covered in red as the blood flows, he's shaking feet stepped and he's footprints are covered in blood towards her.

"You're a ruler and I'm also a ruler but so what…"

"In terms of family, I'm your eldest brother and you're my little sister"

Divine get up on her knees and quickly go to hold her brother and can't bear to see him suffer anymore. She hold him tight and felt the blood on his back, the crushed heart couldn't hold it back anymore and she cried.

"What kind of family if one's doesn't protect their own precious family" cosmic said.

"You all were my precious family but, I can't protect every—"

His body were giving up and can't hold it any longer as she hold him tightly.

"It's all thanks to you that we're alive to this day, please remember that"

He waited to hear this words on his last breath.

"Thank you…" His face expression says all of the things he wanted to say and the body fell down in front of his little sister.

Veiro arrived in the ruins where the king had been killed and was erased from existence.

He cursed the dead king with his foolishness and his own stupidity, he saw the dead Cosmic covered in blood and the little girl staring down at his brother without emotion.Divine muttered a word she said:

"This wasn't what we agreed upon, you lied to us"

"Huh"

"Look around you, you said that the guardian of time can be handled easy by one of us the rulers"

Veiro looked around the ruins and noticed the intense battle between them and the bloods of the warriors that fought till the last of their breath.

"The battle we had was so extreme that all of my comrades died because of you!"

Veiro walked five meters away to Divine.

"You take my family away from me, it's all your fault!!"

The slapped makes divine's face turns red.

"Shut your mouth, how dare you blame me. And it happened that your brothers were threat to me"

"You dare act up now when my brothers are dead. My brothers have not such a thought your just getting jealous that my brother were superior in terms of talents"

"I said shut up! Don't you understand those words?!" Veiro used his hand to coverup her talkative mouth.

Veiro looked surprised when he saw Asterio standing and alive in the corner of the ruins. When he should supposedly die this time.

"H-How are you still alive?!"

"What do you mean, your saying it's like I should have died?"

"You, didn't I told everyone to prioritize to kill this bastard"

The king slowly and sneaks precisely in the kings palace so no one would notice him leaving the palace. While everybody busy resting and preparing for the expedition tomorrow and Asterio didn't notice it too because he was busy resting for the first time and didn't care what's happening in the world at that time.

Veiro, the king of a great world wondered outside world to get the chances and to meet the other kings of the great world to and important events that will happens tomorrow.

The kings of the various worlds thought what was he plotting or planning to call for us in this busy times. The king of the great world were not all on good terms with each others so, they give him the chance to gather the other kings for a meeting on a large scale.

He talked about what happened in the past few days when Asterio came here from the portal and the plan to the ruins of time tomorrow.

He suggested to everyone to come to the ruins of time tomorrow. This is the first time for the current ruler to come and go in the ruins of time, the Bakunawa will make a move himself to devour the vortex that has been keeping them from entering and to split the relics equally.

No one's ever no the relics of the time in the current timeline and no one know the origin of it.

And some kings suggested that to let a few kings handled him but Veiro disagreed because the told him that he didn't know the extent of his strength and the limits of it. So thats why he gathered all of them to surely get him killed.

The kings thought that can be beneficial for them to partake the plan he suggested to do tomorrow.

Veiro also took the chance to discuss this with his rulers in front of the kings of the various world because he knew that there's a rulers who would not want the planned he had. The pressure on all sides makes the rulers agreed to participate in the planned.

After a long discussion…

All of the Kings goes to their perspective great world without causing harm to each other's peacefully for the first time.

And they gathered their rulers and told them what will happened tomorrow and the plans they came up with.

The people who concealed themselves from the enemy gathered around the ruins from all over the places, the kings and rulers have arrived on the scene.

As the kings and rulers show themselves, Asterio gaze around at everybody present and see what they would do, Asterio already have a rough idea what will happen.

"Where's the relic?" The moment Asterio show up he doesn't saw the relic.

Asterio thought to himself "What makes this guys so obsessed with this thing, I'm sure they don't know a thing about it and it's defected anyway, it doesn't matter if I give this to them"

Asterio need time to recover from the battle and he also stand no chance of winning, the current him is lacking in various aspects.

"So you guys want this relic but this only for one person"

"Hmm, how can you split this among yourselves?" He got an idea to make them fight for each other and get away in the situation as soon as possible.

The kings and rulers created an intense atmosphere in midst of the war. They are backed at being enemies to themselves, if the fight will happen the battle will be intense so the one and only be victorious is Asterio.

However, Veiro realized what Asterio be planning and started to persuade the other kings not to believe easily in his words.

"Don't be fooled by this man, he wants us to fight between ourselves so he can take the chance to leave in the situation"

"We didn't even know if that relic is real, how can he just give it to us casually"

"It's better for us to confirm it ourselves, we need to kill him first"

The situation turned around and Asterio knew that he couldn't go back so the only option he had was violence.
