Chp 81 : What now?

Atop of the cloud soaring Curran palace, the sun started to rise, it has been two days since Yael started to climb to the top of the cliff, the normal method to get to the top was to fly

A bruised and bloody hand latched onto a large root, to hoist themselves up. Yael had made it to Curran palace alive and with her son tightly attached to her back, still sleeping soundly

"... we made it, Mikhail" Yael muttered with the little remaining energy she had left, he body at this point was skin and bones "Do you like your name? While I was climbing I had a lot of time to think about it, It will remind you to be righteous and to not stray off your path, and fall into evil... and you will overcome all adversities and make it out of this place" She said before crawling her way towards the palace entrance, and knocking on their door

"This is it Mikhail... your on your own now" she kissed his forehead one last time to bid him farewell, gently placed him down in front of the door and disappeared to who knows where...

Siun's body jolted as he was suddenly awoken back into the library

[So? What did you see?] Tex said proudly as he floated the book back onto the altar as Siun just stood stunned in place [Those were Mikhail's childhood memories, you will be able to see the rest of his memories soon when you are more powerful! So what did you see? Any clues that will help us find him?]

As Tex finished his sentence, Siun collapsed onto the ground, hopeless. What can he do now that he had inadvertently killed Yael before Mikhail was born?

"T-tex... Mikhail is dead" He tried to speak, but his breath started to shorten as he panicked and sweated

"Huh? What did you say Siun?" Tex replied, still not understanding what happened as he was not able to see what was inside Mikhail's book

"Yael was... his mother, but she's dead" Siun said, grasping at his hair in confusion and fear, "W-what do I do??? T-that's why the screen had an error message!" 

"Mikhail is dead?" Tex said in a more concerned tone "WHO's gonna kill the demon lord now?!" the small black cat said as he scurried through his brain to find out what to do in this situation, "wait! let me look for something... there's gotta be a solution programmed in me somewhere"

Whilst Tex was busy looking through his files, Siun was left alone with his thoughts as anxiety and guilt started rushing into him

[How am I supposed to complete the quest?! Now that there is no hero, what will happened to this world? Elena and Silas? What's gonna happen?!] He though as he curled up into a ball, drowning in his puddle of tears on the library floor [... mor importantly... what's going to happen to ME? Will my soul be sent to the jail for eternity? Or worse! I have killed the hero, maybe they're going to torture it!]

Siun's vision became blurry from the swelling as his nose clogged up, he started to see black...

[Am I fainting?] He though to himself

"...siun" the black started talking, yelling, at him "WAKE UP"

Oh, it was just Tex, sitting right Infront of his swollen face

"What is it Tex?! I'm done for!" Siun said as he tried to throw Tex across the room, but once again, it was to no avail as Tex just simply made his body transparent and Siun's small arms just slid right through the cat

"Look! I found the solution! I fixed it!" The black cat proudly announced with a smug smile on his face as he opened up the blue screen once again for Siun to see
