You scared princess?

Hao Sheng and Malakai made their way through the streets to the nearest amusement park, Menu City Park.

They got there and bought their tickets at the entrance.

They walked around, looking at all the different rides.

"So which one do you want to try first?", Hao Sheng asked, turning to Malakai.

It had been so long since Malakai had last come to a place like this. He usually only does one thing: party, party, party.His friend group was the type to find things like that and shopping or just chilling at the mall fun.

He could feel excitement thrum through him at the thought of getting on all these rides. Right then and there, he silently vowed that they wouldn't leave until he tried at least 80% of the rides there.

"Let's try the Anaconda first!", Malakai exclaimed, pulling Hao Sheng in the direction of the snake-shaped roller coaster.

Hai Sheng chuckled endearingly at the child-like excitement of Malakai as he let himself be led away.

The line was relatively short, so soon enough it was their turn to get on the ride.

The whole time they were waiting, Malakai was excitedly moving around in one spot.

Hao Sheng smiled, "Excited much?", he asked.

Malakai just stuck his tongue out at him.

"Of course I am. It's been a long time since I last thought about doing something like this. I remember, last time I was here, I wasn't tall enough to ride this roller coaster, so it's my first time.", he says lightly.

Hao Sheng hums, "Well then, let's have the best time today, to make up for old times".

They get into the seats and get strapped in.

As the roller coaster starts moving up the slope, Malakai starts to get a bit nervous.

"You know, on second thought, I don't think this was such a good idea...", he says, laughing nervously.

Hao Sheng sends him a shit-eating-grin.

"What are you scared or something, princess?", he says as provocatively as he can, grin still in place.

They were still going up the hill.

"Scared? Who's scared?! I was just pointing out how high this is and how dangerous it could get if we fell from this height. That's all. ", Malakai said, haramphing slightly.

Hao Sheng grinned wider.

"It's okay if you're a bit nervous, it's normal", he said. He held out his hand in front of Malakai, "Look you can even hold my hand if you want to, princess. I won't mind".

Malakai snorted and slapped his hand away. "I'll be fine, thank you very much".

Hao Sheng smirked.

"Well, I really hope you mean that. My offer still stands", he says.

"And what's that supposed to-AHH! ", Malakai didn't get to finish his sentence, as without him noticing, they had reached the top of the peak. The cart stood still for a moment, before plummeting at a fast speed.

Malkai let out a scream and instinctively held onto Hao Sheng's hand as they sped downwards before going over a few more hills.

At some point, Malakai stopped screaming out of fear and instead let out a few screams of exhilaration. The whole time, though, he didn't let go of Hao Sheng's hand, a fact that made Hao Sheng secretly smile.

By the time the ride came to an end, Malakai looked like he had thoroughly enjoyed himself. He was practically glowing.

Hai Sheng chuckled when he saw the look on Malakai's face.

"Looks like someone enjoyed themselves", he said teasingly.

"Well, yeah. That's was pretty fun. I kind of want to go again! ", he says, smiling a bit.

"It's kind of funny. With the way you were gripping my hand, I thought for sure you'd never want to go again", he says lightly, a small smile pulling at the corners of his mouth.

"Oh shut up", Malakai retorts, a smile never leaving his face.

"Come on, let's go try that scissor one over there next", he says, pulling Hao Sheng in the direction of the scissor ride.

They waited in line and got on.

"You can hold my hand if you get scared again.", Hai Sheng leans in to whisper in Malakai's ear.

Hao Sheng notices Malakai's ears redden slightly and smiles.

"That won't be necessary", he bites back, turning his head away slightly.

This made Hao Sheng smile even more.

"Well, if you're sure~", he said lightly, a lilt in his voice.

Soon the ride started, hurling them into the sky and then bringing them down just as fast.

This time Malakai didn't hold onto Hao Sheng's hand, a fact he boasted of as soon as they got down.

Hao Sheng rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Let's go to the next one now", he said, pulling them in the direction of another ride.

For the next 2 hours, Hao Sheng and Malakai boarded ride after ride, nonstop.

Then, finally, after a few hours of playing around, they stopped to get something to eat.

"Hm. There's not really much of a variety of what we can get to eat here...So what would you prefer, a burger or a hot dog? ", he asked Malakai after scanning the menu.

"I'll just have a burger with some chips and a Pepsi, thank you",he says thoughtfully.

Hao Sheng flashes him a smile.

"Sure. I'll go get them. You can just wait here for me and rest a bit".

With that, he went off in the direction of a burger foodstall.

Malakai, now left alone, leaned against the wall and pulled out his phone to keep busy.

He switched it on to find multiple messages from his 'friends' asking about his whereabouts.

Come to think of it. Usually during the weekends, he would hang out with them or just stay home. This was the first time he hadn't gone anywhere without notifying them.

He also usually kept his phone on hand, but today he had switched it to silent so that it didn't disturb him.

It was pretty funny to think about.

He replied to all his friends, letting them know that he had gotten caught up with something and that was the reason he couldn't get to his phone until now.

He then switched to a game on his phone and kept himself busy with that.

He was suddenly interrupted by someone.

A guy suddenly slammed his hand against the wall next to his head and leaned in.

"Hey gorgeous. I saw you standing all alone and decided to approach you. It would be a shame to leave a pretty thing like yourself all here by yourself. What do you say you leave here with me?", the guys rasped out.

He probably thought his rasping was sexy or something, but all it did was make Malakai wrinkle his nose in disgust.

"No thanks. I'm not interested, so could you kindly fuck off now?", he said coldly.

The guy didn't seem to get the hint, and instead he leaned in a bit more.

"Come on, don't be like that... I can show you a real good time if you let me.", he said, a bit more forcefully this time.

Malakai completely lost his patience at that. He tried to be nice, but this didn't seem to get the message.

Malakai sighed.

"Look, you're not my type at all, dude. Your breath smells. Your teeth are yellow. Your hair looks haggard and damaged. Your shoes are worn out and cheap. All that jewelery you have on is fake. You're broke and ugly, and honestly, you smell like you haven't taken a shower in days. I don't know why you thought you could pick anyone up looking like that, much less me. But I'm here to tell you that you shouldn't even try. You're not my type and will never be someone I would be interested in so why don't you just fuck off while I'm asking nicely.", he says scathingly, not even attempting to conceal the scorn and disdain in his eyes.

At this, the guys flushed red in anger and made a move as if to hit Malakai.

Malakai scoffed coldly. So he was that kind of guy, huh? How fucking shameful.

Just as he balled his fists in preparation to punch the guy, he was sudenly flung off him and thrown to the floor.

Hai Sheng picked him up and gave him a punch to the jaw, then threw him back to the floor.

"He said he wasn't interested, fucker", he said, the anger eminent in his voice. He was breathing heavily and looked like he wanted to throw another punch.

In the next second, Hao Sheng was at his side, looking him up and down as if to check if he was alright.

"Are you okay?", he asked, a bit if worry shining through his eyes.

For some reason, Malakai felt touched. Never had he seen someone this angry on his behalf. It was kind of...refreshing.

He smiled, "Yeah, don't worry about me. I'm fine".

Hao Sheng breathed a sigh of relief.

"Good. Because if you weren't, I was going to beat the fuck out of that fucker.", he said seriously.

Although this was a serious matter, Malakai couldn't help but laugh.

"It's all good. Forget about that loser, let's go eat.", he said, pulling him away.

Their little alteration had drawn the eyes of a few people, and he wanted to get away from them before one of them decided to take a picture and post it on social media.

"Fine", Hao Shwng sighed as he allowed himself to be pulled away.

"I can take care of myself, you know? I have dealt with assholes like that more times than I can count.", he said lightly.

Hao Sheng chuckled.

"Yeah, well... I wouldn't want you to get your pretty hands dirty with such vermin", he says, smiling a bit.

This brings a smile to Malakai's face.

"Come on, let's go eat. Where did you put our food anyway? ", he asks.

"Oh, I found and booked a table nearby and left out food there. It's this way. Let's go. You must be starving by now.", he said, smiling a bit as he moved him in the direction of a few picnic tables nearby.
