She came out of the kitchen and went into the bathroom, asking as she walked.

"Who is your sister? I don't know her at all." Xu Lin intentionally raised his voice, making sure Chu Qingchan could hear.

"Aren't you my sister's husband?"

"I'm just a high school student, a good student at that. I haven't even had a girlfriend yet."

The other party glared at him, then walked towards the bedroom. Xu Lin immediately ran up, intending to stop her.

"I'm leaving. But if she still doesn't want to come back home, next time it'll be our father coming himself."

After saying that, she tossed her hair, and strands fell on his chin, making him feel a bit ticklish. It was only then that he realised she had left when he heard the sound of the door closing.

He glanced at his phone again, hoping it was just the internal screen that was damaged. If the motherboard was also broken, he would need a complete replacement.

But then a message arrived on his phone. Opening it, he found that the girl who had just left had sent a transfer.

He was initially a little hesitant, but he still clicked on it when he saw the message saying, "Compensating for your phone." To his surprise, he saw five zeros, and he coughed abruptly.
