Combat Training (3)

We began to make our way to the spot that had been assigned to us. The site is quite far away from ours. My endurance has risen, possibly as a result of the physical preparation I did prior to the trip and the amount of physical work I put in throughout the trip. It's not my fault that I'm behind schedule. Michael and Trina, on the other hand, did not shed a single drop of sweat. The rest, on the other hand, were weary.

" I think we can stop here," Michal replied.

Trina agreed with a nod of her head.

We came to a halt near the address we were given. We are outside of the Blazing horned bull's territory.

I saw the faces of the rest of my teammates. I can see the exhaustion on their faces. Some are gasping for breath.

Michael slid a bottle of water into our hands.

In comparison to others of his rank, his personality is better.

"We need to devise a strategy to deal with this. We must make sure that no one gets injured." Michal remarked.

Trina, who was sitting on a neighboring rock, agreed with a nod.

She didn't appear dissatisfied, contrary to my expectations. She was simply sitting discreetly and reading information from her watch about the Blazing Horned Bull.

In order to go through the information, I also opened my smartwatch. It's possible that the information isn't the same as in the novel.

Trina rose to her feet and grabbed her sphere.

Michael drew his sword and shield from his spatial space. William drew his axes.

"Hmm? I'm a conjurer. I have the ability to cast ice magic." Alexandria expressed her thoughts.

"Hmm. That's quite impressive." Michal remarked.

"Michal will protect Alexandria and fight the beast. We'll assault it simultaneously once it's distracted. We'll assault its black hump whenever we have an opening."

Trina quickly switched off her smartwatch and addressed the others.

Ah, I get it now.

Trina acts as if I never existed in the first place. She didn't admonish me or appear displeased because I was at the same level as air.

"Let's get going now." She took the initiative.

I forced myself to stand up after that. My body was strained. It's not that I'm offended in any way. That's how I prefer it. I'm right behind them.

Michal approached me and said, " I think you should be good outside. You might get hurt if you get involved."

Well, considering my rank, it should be a practical case. There is nothing wrong with what he said.

"Don't be concerned. I have no intention of becoming engaged in this. I'm not going to get in your way."

Michal nodded and stepped forward.

I followed suit behind them.

We dashed towards the woods. We discovered our target monster just as my legs were ready to give out. It's massive, man. It's a far cry from the picture provided. It's extremely terrifying.

As they advanced, I took a step back.

'Right, I don't think I need to become engaged in this.'

They're the ones who told me to take a step back.

I dashed behind a tall tree to hide. They were getting closer to the beast. It didn't seem to notice their approaching presence.

I swiftly ascended the tree to keep an eye on them.

"I'm all set."

Trina spoke as she sank farther into the thicket. William took up his axes and walked up to her.

Michal and Alexandria were at their respective stations, ready to go.

"We'll go ahead with our plans. When the bull attacks, Alexandria will use her ice magic to attack it, while Michal will act as a tanker. When it's distracted, William will strike from the opposite end. Then, in the entrance, I'll go after its black hump. Because that black hump has strong regenerating power, we need to remove its hump in a single strike, thus all of you should be very active."

Trina outlined their strategy.

For starters, that's a fairly decent strategy. But you need to take into consideration its berserk state transformation.

As they don't need my help I will watch how they will perform.

I sat on the tree and held myself back from yawning.

"Let's get started."

Michael and Alexandria leaped to their feet as soon as she spoke. William took up his position on the side to attack it. On the other side, Trina took her place.

Alexandria uses her ice magic to assault the Blazing Horned Bull at Trina's command.

She released the ice magic towards the beast after a flash of ice formed around her. They moved like bullets in a hail of gunshots.

'Hmm. That's impressive. They will not, however, cause any damage to it.

When the bull saw they were approaching the hump, it instantly turned its body around and used its body to stop the ice bullets. When they came into contact with the bull's body, they were shattered into bits.

"Tsk" Trina began to move.

The Blazing horned bull is charging towards Alexandria. It appears to be enraged.

Michal then jumped in front of Alexandria with his shield in hand.

BOOM !💥

A rumbling sound erupted.

"Heek!" Michal bites his lips.

That's quite an accomplishment. He obstructed it and remained firm.

William emerged from the other side and attacked it right away. It avoided it after sensing him. His axes only scratched the surface of it, unable to pierce it. Trina saw the opening and struck the monster's hump just as the monster was focusing on the others.

The plan was performed well, yet the outcomes fell short of expectations. The Blazing Horned Bull went to its berserk state the instant it realized its life was about to be threatened.

The shook its entire body and exerted a tremendous amount of force. Everyone was pushed to the side.

" Tsk, Dammit." Frustrating was visible on Trina's face.

She was only a few inches away from removing its hump. It's even more difficult to handle it now that it's gone berserk.

The Blazing horned bull is exerting a violent force. It seems it's pissed. Who wouldn't if one's life is threatened.

It senses that Trina is the most powerful in the group and started to rush into her.

She was off balance and caught off guard.

"Dammit."

She used her sphere to defend herself, but that won't be enough. Michael jumped in front of Trina and took his shield to guard her again just as the bull was about to strike her, but the impact was too great and he was flung away.

William and Alexandria attack it from behind at the same time. Trina instantly rose to her feet and realized the opportunity that her colleagues had created, and she utilized all of her might to capitalize on the momentum and serve the hump.

After that, The Blazing Horned Bull's eyes went blank and it fell to the ground.

A sigh of relief can be seen on everyone's faces.

"We did it," William exclaimed triumphantly.

"Yay!" Everyone followed suit.

Trina who hates these kinds of things silently walked away into a distance. It seems like she is leaving as the mission was complete and she has nothing to do with the team. It seems no one is bothered to stop her anyway.

"They put up a really decent show over there."

Even though Trina ranks at the top she is not that powerful when we compare her with the likes of Thomas, Iva, Andrea, or John. However, she outsmarts them in terms of intelligence. Her name will be known all across the world in the future.

I slowly descended from the tree where I had been watching everything unfold. I turned around and headed in the opposite direction to where they were standing.

"I believe it is now my turn to put things to the test. Hehe..."

I drew my sword and began moving in that direction.
