Chester Yale watched her like a family head from beginning to end.
Seeing that she had eaten and drunk what she needed, he pressed the intercom for the butler to come up and clean, and his tall body lay back beside her, showing no sign of leaving.
Evelyn Sherman quietly looked at the time; it was only two in the afternoon.
Wasn't he going to the company?
"Chester Yale, I'm fine." Evelyn thought for a moment and spoke directly, not caring if he thought she was being overly sentimental.
"I have eyes, I can see you'll live. What, do you want me to give you a ride?" Chester sarcastically ridiculed.
Catching a glimpse of her face turning pale for a moment, a touch of annoyance flashed in his heart again.
Evelyn picked at her fingers and pursed her thin lips, "Don't you have to go to the company today?"
"So, you are trying to drive me away?" Chester's facial expression darkened all at once.
